It's 12.11pm and I still waiting for Miss J and little madam to wake up!! They are sharing a room seeing as we FINALLY changed the room round. The other half is now on his way back from Bude after picking the kids up, they are going to have a little suprise seeing their new room.
Ooo, I hear Miss J coughing! do we have life?!....no?

I had more parcels delivered from ebay today, the postman keeps laughing at me. Today he said "surely there aren't more?" so I said i've bought the entire lot! I'm in the process of setting up my own account (I currently use the other halfs) and on mine i'm going to be selling little madams clothes and stuff that doesn't fit.

I've been given the day off today as my employer isn't feeling great. Hope she gets well soon. Feel rather guilty still being at home in my PJs! Think I might go and get dressed and do what I can around the house whilst waiting for the other two to wake up. I really need to finish that room, got stacks of clothes and toys to still fit in!

Busy bee! :-)

I'm now a 'working mum!'. I work every morning from 7-10am and until 12.30pm on a fri. Which gives me pretty much most of the day to spend with little madam! She has started going to nursery now, I can't believe it!! She's very nearly 8 months old now! Her daddy drops her off at 8.15am on his way to work and I pick her up at 10.15am :-)
I am enjoying work, I especially love the dogs! hehe

Bruce has been speaking to me online today and we have finally organised a date for my 'early birthday present' from her. We r going to Cardiff on 10th/11th August and i'm having a makeover/photoshoot :D We're going to take little madam aswell and have proper 'girls time' yay! Need to tell the other half... haha!

I went to see Bruce sing the other day in Teignmouth. It was a really sunny and hot day. Bruce sang fabulously well. There were loads of people there including me, the other half, little madam and Miss J. Also my family were there and were awful. They barely said a word to me and just about passed acting civil, and thats all it was... plain old acting :-(
Oh to have a 'normal' family... it's a joke.
My 2nd to youngest sister 'lala' played her cello in the concert and also played very well. The best bit was when she headed straight over to me and little madam after the concert to say hello. At least some of the family have common decency.
After the concert we got a Carvery in Chudleigh Knighton which was lush although I couldn't finish it as I had lost my appetite.

I spent all of last night thinking about our tiny little flat. It's starting to get to me how little madam is still having to share our bedroom. I rang the other half this morning to give him an ultimatum. It's the car or moving house. Now as he's been after a car a lot longer than moving i'm pretty sure he will choose the car which is fine, but my conditions are that we all swap rooms in the flat so all three kids would share a room in either our room or the lounge and we would have the smallest bedroom.

Sooo stressed. Things need to change around here!

Anyway, the driving went ok. I stalled on a hill and swore haha. Need to check when i'm able to have my next lesson.

I started my new job, it went very well for my first day. I get on really well with my employer. She will be moving up the road this weekend so when I go back on Monday I will literally have to walk up the road and i'm there!

Nope, it's no good. I can't stop thinking about the flat!! I've even drawn up plans of what I want changed!!

OMG!

I totally forgot that it's my driving lesson tomorrow! Scary!!! I'm really hoping I get the hang of it.

Little madam has been really lively today! She's eating and drinking a lot more which is great, so hopefully she'll be putting on more weight. I might take her to get weighed again next week.

I start my job on Friday morning, I may also have the opportunity to work 7-9am weekdays as well for the same lady which will be good. It will mean having to find little madam a nursery to go to on Tuesday mornings, she'll be with her daddy until 8am and then with her nanny until just after 9 on all the other days. It works out perfectly.

I'm going to see Bruce sing on Sunday, it will be the first time the other half and little madam have heard her sing. The recital will be right near the sea front, so hoping for nice weather.

We have got the dates for when we have the kids this summer. It looks like we'll have them on little miss K's 7th birthday which is the first time ever for us since me and the other half have been together. Think pizza hut and bowling is planned. I've been busy trying to find suitable presents, wanted to get her lots of little presents rather than one big one, thats the fun of birthdays when you're younger isn't it? You want lots and lots of presents!

Hello Mitchel, he's come to join me on the sofa and is watching me type :-) it's gone 1am and the virgin media box has suddenly crashed meaning I can no longer catch up on the rest of my soaps!! Oh well, bed time me thinks, have to be up early to take little madam to Jump with her boyfriend :-) Plus it's not going to look good if i'm knackered for my driving lesson!!

Wish me luck!...

On the mend :-)

Yay!! Little madam is finally getting better! she's more alert and vocal - chatting away to herself! Today (Monday) little madam took a 6oz bottle, a jar of food and lots of biscuits. She's also taken a little water. She hasn't been sick in over 24 hours, it's all good news!

We are going to try and go to our FINAL music class tomorrow, it's so sad that it's going to be the last one. I must remember to take a teddy bear, that's what the leader has instructed me to bring with us! I really need to look into baby swimming classes now, I love having a class to go to with little madam, it gives us more 'us time' :-)

Little madam is developing away, she's trying to sit up a lot more now, she's still very wobbly but as of tomorrow (tuesday) we will have a bumbo seat which should help with her posture. She is now saying 'ta' when offered her bottle or biscuit. She is also waving now which is sooo sweet!

We've got £160 left to pay for our professional pictures that we had done, I can't wait!!

Tomorrow will be quite busy actually because in the afternoon I need to go and sort my contract out for my new part time job! exciting!

Trip to hospital at 4am :-(

Things aren't exactly going great for little madam at the moment I'm afraid. Last night she began being sick again and again and again, one after the other. It got to the point where I was too scared to go to sleep, just in case. Anyway, the other half rang our out of hours doctors who immediately wanted to see her. We had to wake up the mother in law so we could have a lift to the hospital. The brother in law came over to watch the other two kids so that the other half could come with me and little madam.

Little madam was in a daze the whole time, although she did manage a small smile for her nanny. We got to the hospital and were basically told that she has a virus and there is not a lot we can do about it because of her age. Our main focus is to make sure she doesn't get too dehydrated. She is already showing signs - dryer nappies and also sort of passing out when she is being sick. If her mouth begins to go dry then poor little madam will most likely have to be admitted to hospital and have tubes etc giving her fluids :-(

I'm really hoping that she gets well soon, she's been ill since Tuesday now. Please can you all wish my little one well. Really don't want to to get to the point where she's in hospital on a drip like I was when I was pregnant with her, it's horrible.

Poorly baby :-(

My poor baby has and is still ill. She has picked up a bug that is going round and is struggling to keep anything down. She's really unsettled and just generally miserable. Thursday night was one of my most scariest as a mummy, little madam was urging and couldnt bring anything up and so began choking, I was in tears and panicking so the other half took control of the whole situation.
I like to think that I was more in control of my feelings last night when she began urging again.

The kids are down this weekend and are under punishment from their mum because of something they did down there. They aren't going out with Nanny and Grandad today, instead i've got them home helping me around the house and doing homework etc...

I'm supposed to be going out to a friends tonight to meet up with old work friends but I think I will have to cancel because little madam just isn't right yet and if the other two kids catch it then I can't really expect the other half to deal with all three on his own!

I have a new hobby lately : Ebay! love it, i've found some good bargains. I'm collecting mainly flute music to begin my teaching to get some extra pennies in. Also I figured I can start accumulating christmas presents for the kids now and then it won't cost so much nearer the time.

A bit of history for you!

This is me!! The picture is of me in the gymnastics team at school, March 1999.
I remember being really nervous the day I had to perform my routine to the whole school, they put the gym mats in the middle of the room like a boxing ring and there were people surrounding the mats all around. I prayed that my long legs wouldn't end up hitting someone in the face!
Little madam's photo shoot went really well on Monday. It took a while for her to relax around a new camera but we got some fantastic smiles and she even stayed on her tummy for some of the shots! The pictures should arrive two weeks after I finish paying.

It's 9.20am and both me and little madam are sat in the lounge whilst she finishes her bottle and then we are off for our morning nap as it's been exhausting these last few days! Last night me and the other half decided to catch up on the soaps in bed, little madam woke up and lay on her side to watch them too! and then we were joined by Mitchel (who fell asleep in the laundry basket) and Socks - who plonked himself right in the middle of me and the other half!

Yesterday we went to our music class which was the last one at the lady's house, next week is our final session altogether up at the park so hoping for really nice weather! I invited the ladies to our 'morning session' at Jump every Thursday so it looks like we can all keep meeting every week and stay in touch!

I wonder if little madam's boyfriends christening present will arrive today?

Oh no, was hoping for nicer weather today, the clouds are getting heavier. I really need our grass cutting today! It's looking like a bit of a jungle out there lately.

I forgot to say, last night at about 10.30pm I went outside to get the cats in as I don't like them out at night. Anyway Sock's was already there sat on the rabbit hutch but Mitchel was nowhere to be seen so I went down the road calling "Mitch" and about a million black cats appeared!! None of them were Mitchel! Some of them had really funny meows! There was even a little black kitten with a sweet collar on that tried to pass off as Mitchel. I came back home to tell the other half that I couldnt find him and it turned out he was sleeping in our shoe rack!!! (his latest hiding place!)

Right it's down pouring with rain now so must try to find Mitchel!

So annoyed :-(

It's 10am and I've just realised we're missing one of our shopping bags from yesterday! It has got all the ingrediants for our tea today! What is worse is that it has little madam's tea in there as well.
I'm skint enough as it is today as we have little madam's photo shoot this afternoon, it's usually an expensive - but worth it, job.

Let's hope that today gets a little better!

Sunday - a day of rest

Today the other half's parents took little madam for the afternoon so that we could go into town and watch a film at the cinema. We ended up going to see Shrek (3) in 3D which was very funny (love, love, love puss in boots!!)

We've just got home and little madam is knackered, no idea what she's been up to today but i'm sure she's been shouting "dada" all afternoon as she always does and kicking both legs up in the air and slamming them to the ground - a new phase she's going through lately! Any way, she's tucked up in her cot now having a rest before her evening 'bot bot'

I'm sat relaxing on the sofa watching the 2010 World Cup Final, Netherlands verses Spain. I'm completely impartial on this game at a guess I would have to say I think Spain will win.

Saturday, 10 July 2010

My first ever driving lesson is now booked for Thursday 22nd July!! Exciting stuff. The man sounds really nice and he also told me that I don't have to have a years worth of driving behind me to take my test so lets get this show on the road!! (literally).

Today has turned out to be a waste of a day really (minus organising my driving) Miss J has gone home now and little madam has gone down for her afternoon nap. I was hoping to go shopping this afternoon as theres lots still to get. It looks like it is going to rain soon, the clouds are getting darker so I called in Mitchel and Socks. Socks is crashed out on the table as I type! - sleepy kitty!

Yesterday at the school fair we picked up a few educational games for the kids so homework should be a blast next time they are down! It won't be long before I have to dig it all out again for little madam!

Right now i've got the top 40 on and i'm still in my PJs! It's currently 2.30pm!!

I WON!!! :-)

Yay! I won £70 which will come in very handy indeed. Bruce has decided that she LOVES bingo and will be visiting again soon! We came home and ate chinese and sang on sing star. I also treated myself to five new tracks.

Today has been a long day, starting with our Asda delivery. Once everything had been put away we loaded up the car and setted of for Newton Abbot. We called in on my old babysitter to say 'hello' which was nice. The weather was so much niced in Newton Abbot compared to Plymouth. After we called in we went up to our old primary school for it's 30th birthday reunion/summer fair. It was so strange seeing all my old teachers (most of which didn't recognise me until I said my name!).

Me and the other half decided to have a meal at Wetherspoons and ended up bumping into Miss King! We invited Miss J to join us, which she did and even ended up driving us to visit her mum and then drove us all the way back to Plymouth!

We are now watching Big Brother on channel 4 +1 who will go? It's between Nathan and John James. I reckon the public will vote Nathan to go out. We shall see...

Thursday, 8 July 2010

Off to Gala bingo in a bit with two of my very good chums! Bruce and Miss J!

Right now though i'm sat watching Big Brothers Little Brother and eating strawberrys with the other half and Bruce. Little madam has gone down for her nap after a very long and exhausting day. This morning we went to 'Jump' which is an indoor play area and has a section for 0-3's. We went with little madam's friend and boyfriend.

Afterwards she spent the afternoon with her Nanny and Grandad.

Nothing new on the job hunt, still searching and hoping. The part time job I have as a PA will begin as the CRB arrives and it's only up the road! Should be interesting as it's something I have never done before.

Socks and Mitchel are no where to be seen. Luckily it's started cooling down lately as they have HATED the heatwaves! The bunnies are becoming much more sociable as well, they kind of sit up when you approach the cage. Nostrills is doing ok as well and enjoying her new wooden house.

Well as you can all see, everything is going well. Keep your fingers crossed for my big win at bingo tonight...!!!

Tuesday, 6 July 2010

Today has been a nightmare already and it's only 10am! Unfortunately me and little madam have missed our usual Tuesday morning singing/dance class. I've been faffing around trying to find our electric key and it turns out that the other half thought the big note on the table saying ELECTRIC KEY was for him and so he took it with him to work!! So yes, I went to go to apologize to little madam about running so late only to find her fast asleep holding all her toys in the cot! How sweet! - if she was awake though we could have gone to Baby Group or rather "snugglies" as they call it which is down the road!

Well my cat Sock's seems to think that the pram I have dragged out of the cupboard is for him. He's managed to wedge himself underneath the raincover at the very top and has promptly fallen asleep. It's just me and my other cat Mitchel thats awake now. I get the feeling I may regret not going back to sleep while little madam is sleeping.

I feel rather helpless today now! What to do? I darent do any washing as the electric will most likely go seeing as we are now in emergency credit! I would love to take little madam swimming but i'm letting the side down by not having a swimming costume and plus the other half wants to be there for her first "swim" which is understandable. I have already looked into aqua baby classes as soon as I sort myself out with a costume, I can't wait!

I suppose I could always go and catch up on Eastenders...

Sunday, 4 July 2010

Peace and silence!

I can not believe how quiet it is!! Kids have gone home, little madam in bed for a late nap and Miss J is now travelling back home. Me and the other half are currently searching for some good tracks to add onto sing star as soon as the pennies arrive.

I've spent the afternoon doing spellings, handwriting, reading and writing - done my good deed for the day, now to relax and watch desperate housewives and big brother this evening. The cherry bakewells are yet to be opened.

Had a really good night out last night with Miss J, lots of wine was consumed and plenty of laughs and singing occured as well. Even got to have a fantastic lie in too! It's all good!

Off to see little madams boyfriend tomorrow, hope the weather is a little nicer - seems to go from one extreme to the other!!

Saturday, 3 July 2010

Well I don't know how i'm awake right now after getting about 2 hours of sleep. No it wasn't little madam keeping me awake, me and Miss J were singing our little hearts out on sing star until the early hours of this morning. We discovered the magic of Queen's 'Bicycle' song!!

I've had to get all three kids ready today which was really hard as the weather is being so indecisive! shorts, trousers? I have got a load of washing on as well which I am now worried about, it looks like it may have a down pour out there - Typical!

Little madam is sleeping peacefully after a bowl of porridge and 7oz bottle! It's alright for some isn't it? She's taken to sleeping on her side lately which only makes her look even more cute.

Great, upstairs has decided it's time for clubbing music - on that note...

Thank god it's not June any more!

There were soooo many bills in June, where did most of them come from?! July looks to be a bit brighter although still got lots to buy as we are going to the christening of little madams boyfriend on Aug 1st.

Each day has dragged lately so hoping for a more upbeat week. Can't quite believe that my little madam is already 7 months! So she's well on her way to completing her 1st year as an actual human being (I'm still in shock!!) She makes me laugh every day and she is just too cute! It was her first time in one of those baby seats you get on supermarket trolleys today. Usually she gets put in the trolley in her car seat and has to look a long way up but today I thought she could handle the horrible plastic seat, which she did. She ended up distracting me the whole way round the shop making me laugh with her tutting and "dada" noises.

The other half came home laden with chocolate and flowers last night which was nice. We've only been together for two and a half years yet so much has happened! A trip is planned to Alton Towers later this year as a joint birthday, very excited!

Still missing little sis (she's moved miles away for the start of her career). Feels strange to think she used to be around here pretty much every day and now I don't know when our next meet up will be. Missing the littler sis's even more as we hardly EVER get to see each other with them being at boarding school. Hope the GCSE's went well x

Right, off to find my mischievious kitty cats :) x
