Merry Christmas 2010!!!
First things first: Happy Birthday Grandpa!!! Hope you are having a fantastic day and also a Happy Birthday to little miss J who is 6 today and is being spoilt rotten! The kids bedroom now looks as though a toy shop has exploded!
Me and the other half are also having a great day, I was woken up this morning by being prodded by him. He was all excited and wanted to wake everyone up. We've all been very lucky with our gifts/money. Thank you very much :D
We have to get the kids new stockings for next year because these ones have actually split! haha!
The lamb smells lush!!!!! yummy!
Little madam has fallen asleep as it was far to much excitement for one morning! So she still has a rather large pile of presents waiting for her under the tree :-)
The kids are playing with their toys and watching xmas tv, the other half is cooking a delicious meal so that just leaves me to check out the sales online! May aswel grab a bargain while we can!
Merry Christmas everyone have a BRILLIANT day! :D x x x

One more sleep!
Well I got paid at midnight and went straight out to the 24 hour Tesco to do more Xmas shopping for the kids :-) I finally rolled into bed at 3.45am! The kids were well behaved this morning and let me sleep in. I've wrapped everything and text the other half with a list of final things to get! I just hope he remembers to bring it all home!!
Very excited now :-)

Two more sleeps!
Party on Monday night at mine for those of you who havent heard :-)
Well tomorrow is going to be interesting seeing as I now have all three kids as well as trying to buy them their xmas presents without them looking... hmm... I'm off to tesco tonight at midnight assuming I have been paid by then. Im hoping to get the bulk of it then!
Fun, fun, fun!
I went to see my boss this afternoon which was really nice. Little madam got a chance to play with master HT :-) I can not believe the battle I had with the ice though just to get there!! It is EVIL!
I totally forgot that the other half is working late this evening as it is late night shopping, how rubbish :-( Not sure when he will be home.

Three more sleeps!
I don't know why I am so excited. Things havent gone to plan at all lately. I get paid on Friday which is a nightmare even contemplating getting everything we will need on possibly the busiest day of the year. Boo hoo. I feel bad because I still havent paid people back :-( Just feel really down about xmas this year. The kids are understandably over-excited at the prospect of Santa leaving them presents in a few days time not to mession it is little miss J's 6th birthday on Saturday aswel.
Right now i'm just trying to hold my head high and make it through to next week. It feels scary knowing that we are at the end of another year.
2010 was supposed to be 'The Year' of all things great in my eyes, I don't know why, maybe it's because it's a nice rounded number! I was only ever in awe of one other year and that was 2000. This year as a bit of a recap has been all over the place....
....We began the new year with all three kids. Little madam's boyfriend(s) were born in Feb. The Christening in April, My sister graduated and moved away to Surrey with her boyfriend. We found out that the kids mum was pregnant and getting married. Little madam began nursery, we moved house, I won lots of money at Bingo, We went to Alton Towers, I FINALLY got new got new glasses! The car crash. We took little madam to her first firework display. Little madams 1st birthday and party. Miss E's annual party was cancelled :-( and of course Audrey's bad news :-(
So yeah, quite a lot took place in 2010. For 2011 my main aim is to get little madam settled into her new nursery. I want to get a second job to try and sort out all our money troubles - we WILL beat this. I would also like to get the house finished by next christmas and I mean properly finished. And of course I would love for the other half to have a car. If I could have a few lessons thrown in next year then that would be great too.
Little miss K asked what I have asked Santa for, I said "I haven't asked Santa for any presents, all I have asked for is lots of luck" :-) I then had to go on to explain what Luck is and what it means lol Speaking of little miss K, she said the funniest thing this morning "do I put on my trousers before the tights?" haha made me chuckle I just replied "what do you think?!"
Little madam is battling with a chest infection at the moment. We took her to the doctor on Monday as I knew something was wrong. Her temperature was 38.5 :-( She's now on Amoxicillin which she loves! I'm being serious! She refuses to eat/drink until she's had her meds!
This snow is ridiculous, I'm sick of it already. Trust it to happen this week. To those of you travelling, be safe :-) x

10 days to go!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MISS E!!!
Nana brought my sisters down to visit me and little madam today :-) they came ladden with gifts hehe! I'm hoping I will be able to gather enough pennies at the end of the week to buy a few more pressies to make our tree look a bit healthier. I'm really looking forward to this xmas, perhaps more than usual. Maybe it's because I know that little madam will understand a lot more this year. This time last year she was a tiny tiny newborn :-)
The cats think the wrapping paper and boxes are for them to massacre - bless :-) Bless Mitchel, he is still smitten with the new house, he walks around like a proud cat and actually stomps his paws about as if he owns the place!
I bumped into an un-welcome face today, luckily I only had to endure it for 5 minutes as I picked up little madam. I don't know why it is that I have to feel guilty for not really accepting an apology from the person who very nearly tore my family a part and could have cost me my career. But hey I guess I'm getting used to being a complete door mat - trodden all over.
Onto a happier note, plans seem to be coming together for little miss J's party on Sunday. We're hoping to go swimming and then perhaps a trip to pizza hut. Should be good! Agin, must wrap presents and buy some more soon!
We're hoping that the forecasters are wrong about the snow warning otherwise it is going to be a real struggle picking up the kids. Fingers crossed please :-) x

The christmas tree is up and we have pretty lights up in the window which look good :D Got so much to get ready for christmas, my to-do-list just keeps growing. Got little miss J's birthday to think about aswel.
I've been absolutely hooked to the tele watching Coronation Street this past week, the live episode was really good! Even the other half was captivated!
Me and little madam have had a rough weekend, neither of us felt great. The cold weather doesnt help either. Our lounge is an absolute nightmare, the heat from the radiators is lost from the coldness of the concrete floor. We can't afford flooring/rugs until next year so having to keep our shoes on for now!! When I went to paint the wall next to the stairs I discovered massive cracks everywhere, the inspector came out and said that they will have to come back and strip the wall back to the brickwork and then replaster, so we're going to have to hang fire with the decorating in the hallway :-( Hoping to get the kitchen and bathroom plastered though.
It's freeeeeeeeeeeeeezing!!! brrrrrr

It was little madam's birthday party today and it was a success :-) We had a fairly full house and ate lots, in fact I think thats pretty much all we did! The kids played with little madams new toys. Both of little madam's boyfriends were here too! unfortunately we didn't manage to get a picture of all three together because they took it in turns to fall asleep!
We had a Peppa Pig birthday cake which was smaller than I thought so we all had midget slices! One thing we did forget was the jelly! it's still in the fridge, i'm hoping that it will keep until tomorrow :-)
We also replayed CBeebies showing little madam's card :D
I can't believe that the next time the kids are down will be for the christmas holidays! It's all gone so fast! Will have to dig the stockings out soon!
