Merry Christmas 2010!!!
First things first: Happy Birthday Grandpa!!! Hope you are having a fantastic day and also a Happy Birthday to little miss J who is 6 today and is being spoilt rotten! The kids bedroom now looks as though a toy shop has exploded!
Me and the other half are also having a great day, I was woken up this morning by being prodded by him. He was all excited and wanted to wake everyone up. We've all been very lucky with our gifts/money. Thank you very much :D
We have to get the kids new stockings for next year because these ones have actually split! haha!
The lamb smells lush!!!!! yummy!
Little madam has fallen asleep as it was far to much excitement for one morning! So she still has a rather large pile of presents waiting for her under the tree :-)
The kids are playing with their toys and watching xmas tv, the other half is cooking a delicious meal so that just leaves me to check out the sales online! May aswel grab a bargain while we can!
Merry Christmas everyone have a BRILLIANT day! :D x x x

One more sleep!
Well I got paid at midnight and went straight out to the 24 hour Tesco to do more Xmas shopping for the kids :-) I finally rolled into bed at 3.45am! The kids were well behaved this morning and let me sleep in. I've wrapped everything and text the other half with a list of final things to get! I just hope he remembers to bring it all home!!
Very excited now :-)

Two more sleeps!
Party on Monday night at mine for those of you who havent heard :-)
Well tomorrow is going to be interesting seeing as I now have all three kids as well as trying to buy them their xmas presents without them looking... hmm... I'm off to tesco tonight at midnight assuming I have been paid by then. Im hoping to get the bulk of it then!
Fun, fun, fun!
I went to see my boss this afternoon which was really nice. Little madam got a chance to play with master HT :-) I can not believe the battle I had with the ice though just to get there!! It is EVIL!
I totally forgot that the other half is working late this evening as it is late night shopping, how rubbish :-( Not sure when he will be home.

Three more sleeps!
I don't know why I am so excited. Things havent gone to plan at all lately. I get paid on Friday which is a nightmare even contemplating getting everything we will need on possibly the busiest day of the year. Boo hoo. I feel bad because I still havent paid people back :-( Just feel really down about xmas this year. The kids are understandably over-excited at the prospect of Santa leaving them presents in a few days time not to mession it is little miss J's 6th birthday on Saturday aswel.
Right now i'm just trying to hold my head high and make it through to next week. It feels scary knowing that we are at the end of another year.
2010 was supposed to be 'The Year' of all things great in my eyes, I don't know why, maybe it's because it's a nice rounded number! I was only ever in awe of one other year and that was 2000. This year as a bit of a recap has been all over the place....
....We began the new year with all three kids. Little madam's boyfriend(s) were born in Feb. The Christening in April, My sister graduated and moved away to Surrey with her boyfriend. We found out that the kids mum was pregnant and getting married. Little madam began nursery, we moved house, I won lots of money at Bingo, We went to Alton Towers, I FINALLY got new got new glasses! The car crash. We took little madam to her first firework display. Little madams 1st birthday and party. Miss E's annual party was cancelled :-( and of course Audrey's bad news :-(
So yeah, quite a lot took place in 2010. For 2011 my main aim is to get little madam settled into her new nursery. I want to get a second job to try and sort out all our money troubles - we WILL beat this. I would also like to get the house finished by next christmas and I mean properly finished. And of course I would love for the other half to have a car. If I could have a few lessons thrown in next year then that would be great too.
Little miss K asked what I have asked Santa for, I said "I haven't asked Santa for any presents, all I have asked for is lots of luck" :-) I then had to go on to explain what Luck is and what it means lol Speaking of little miss K, she said the funniest thing this morning "do I put on my trousers before the tights?" haha made me chuckle I just replied "what do you think?!"
Little madam is battling with a chest infection at the moment. We took her to the doctor on Monday as I knew something was wrong. Her temperature was 38.5 :-( She's now on Amoxicillin which she loves! I'm being serious! She refuses to eat/drink until she's had her meds!
This snow is ridiculous, I'm sick of it already. Trust it to happen this week. To those of you travelling, be safe :-) x

10 days to go!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MISS E!!!
Nana brought my sisters down to visit me and little madam today :-) they came ladden with gifts hehe! I'm hoping I will be able to gather enough pennies at the end of the week to buy a few more pressies to make our tree look a bit healthier. I'm really looking forward to this xmas, perhaps more than usual. Maybe it's because I know that little madam will understand a lot more this year. This time last year she was a tiny tiny newborn :-)
The cats think the wrapping paper and boxes are for them to massacre - bless :-) Bless Mitchel, he is still smitten with the new house, he walks around like a proud cat and actually stomps his paws about as if he owns the place!
I bumped into an un-welcome face today, luckily I only had to endure it for 5 minutes as I picked up little madam. I don't know why it is that I have to feel guilty for not really accepting an apology from the person who very nearly tore my family a part and could have cost me my career. But hey I guess I'm getting used to being a complete door mat - trodden all over.
Onto a happier note, plans seem to be coming together for little miss J's party on Sunday. We're hoping to go swimming and then perhaps a trip to pizza hut. Should be good! Agin, must wrap presents and buy some more soon!
We're hoping that the forecasters are wrong about the snow warning otherwise it is going to be a real struggle picking up the kids. Fingers crossed please :-) x

The christmas tree is up and we have pretty lights up in the window which look good :D Got so much to get ready for christmas, my to-do-list just keeps growing. Got little miss J's birthday to think about aswel.
I've been absolutely hooked to the tele watching Coronation Street this past week, the live episode was really good! Even the other half was captivated!
Me and little madam have had a rough weekend, neither of us felt great. The cold weather doesnt help either. Our lounge is an absolute nightmare, the heat from the radiators is lost from the coldness of the concrete floor. We can't afford flooring/rugs until next year so having to keep our shoes on for now!! When I went to paint the wall next to the stairs I discovered massive cracks everywhere, the inspector came out and said that they will have to come back and strip the wall back to the brickwork and then replaster, so we're going to have to hang fire with the decorating in the hallway :-( Hoping to get the kitchen and bathroom plastered though.
It's freeeeeeeeeeeeeezing!!! brrrrrr

It was little madam's birthday party today and it was a success :-) We had a fairly full house and ate lots, in fact I think thats pretty much all we did! The kids played with little madams new toys. Both of little madam's boyfriends were here too! unfortunately we didn't manage to get a picture of all three together because they took it in turns to fall asleep!
We had a Peppa Pig birthday cake which was smaller than I thought so we all had midget slices! One thing we did forget was the jelly! it's still in the fridge, i'm hoping that it will keep until tomorrow :-)
We also replayed CBeebies showing little madam's card :D
I can't believe that the next time the kids are down will be for the christmas holidays! It's all gone so fast! Will have to dig the stockings out soon!

Happy 1st Birthday!
Little madam is ONE today :D She was born at 5.14pm last year :-)
She has hit the teens early today seeing as she was in a mood as soon as she woke up! We sent her straight back to bed whilst watching her card being shown on CBeebies at 10.30am. When she woke up a little later she seemed in a better mood and opened all her cards and presents which she loved! I can't believe she knew how to tear the paper off and find what was inside!
She started getting more and more grouchy so we decided against swimming. Instead we walked to the Toby Carvery and had a meal to celebrate her turning one. She slept through most of it but woke just in time to sit up in a highchair and enjoy a mini roast.
We took the opportunity to pop into the doctors and have her checked over seeing as she hasnt been sleeping well lately since the crash. The doctor said she seems fine but to give her calpol in the evenings just in case her muscles are hurting. She is now booked in on thr 9th to have her injections :-(
Whilst at the doctors we realised it would be a good for the other half to pop into little madams new nursery to have a proper look around before she starts there in January. The other half loved the nursery! Just waiting now to find out what date she starts.
We're home now waiting for a visit from nana. Miss J quickly popped in with her friend to give little madam more presents :D Her new favourite present is the massive balloon that Miss J gave her! Sod the new shoes and bear! (lol)
I can't believe little madam is one!! We made it through a whole year - and what a great one it has been :D
New house, new start :-)

A year ago today I would already be in hospital about to be induced! Little madam at this point last year was 12 days late.
I can not believe she is going to be one TOMORROW! my baby girl is growing up far to fast. She's sat on Aunty Lou's lap at the moment or as she calls her, 'Luh'. Little madam is eyeing up the nail varnish and checking out the jewelry!
I'm taking the Pez out to bingo tonight, hope we win something!!
You will be pleased to hear that we have FINALLY made a start with the paint. In fact my arms are covered, don't worry, I did manage to get some on the walls!
I have painted with the help of Lou and Miss J, three of the lounge walls in magnolia (original!) and one of the walls in the kitchen a mudhut colour. All of it needs another layer.
Miss J went all the way home just now and then realised that she had forgotten her friends house key (and they don't have a spare!) so she's now on her way back again haha! I wonder if she has a minute to drop me and Lou into town?! haha
Todaloo for now! x

The Pez has arrived
Domestos?! That's good for cleaning the other half's skid marks!
Yep, my sister has arrived lol had a scrumy dinner whilst watching the x factor, I'm a celeb and desperate housewives. Plus we watched the dvd we had made from Alton Towers. She's already been running around the house after little madam, carrying her around and bouncing her up and down. By the time I put little madam to bed she was so hyper and wide awake!!
The other half has started listening to the Harry Potter 7 on the CDs :-) bless him, I caught him earlier curled up on the bed listening to the next chapter. It's a good start because I really want him to start reading but he can never be bothered to sit there and read a book, so fingers crossed this will pull him into the world of imagination :D
I had a tesco shop arrive today, they delivered little madam's birthday cake and i'm so annoyed because it has squashed at one end and the peppa pig icing has fallen off! not happy!
I'm hoping tomorrow that maybe I can go and get the paint I need to decorate so we can make a start, I keep saying it but this time I really really really mean it!!! Grrr this house is bugging the hell out of me because it looks so s**t! I hate being so poor!
Annnyyyywaaaaaayyyyy, it's night night time :-) x

Then again, maybe not...
So yeah, we didn't quite make it to London in the end. In fact we didn't even get as far as Exeter. Unfortunately we were all involved in a car crash, luckily no one is badly hurt and we all live to tell the tale. It all happened on a slip road as we were trying to pull onto the main road, our friend accidently drove straight into the back of us. Think both cars may be a right off now because they werent looking great the last time I saw them.
Anyway, we're now home which feels great. I'm so thankful that the crash wasn't as bad as it could have been.
Looking forward to seeing Lou tomorrow x

Full of cold, haven't been paid and missing my daughter. That just about sums up today :-( Today is supposed to be the big day and so far I have been rushing around trying to get my wages pushed through seeing as they 'didn't receive my timesheet until Tuesday' and it was supposed to be there by Monday, Mid day. I was in tears when they told me that because I posted them first class last Thursday. So annoyed and upset, I feel so ill aswel.
So yeah, our London trip is on rocky ground at the moment. The other half took the weekend off work especially. Gutted.
On the plus side me and the other half had a lovely night together. It was the first time in a long time that we had no little madam to look after (she's with Miss J). We went to bingo and were waiting for 1 number for the cashclimber :-( then we went to see Harry Potter at the cinema. It finished really late and by the time we got the taxi home I literally crawled into bed as I felt horrible.
It's little madam's 1st birthday on Tuesday so can we all pray that I get paid today so I can make her day really special, not to mention her party next weekend.

First of all let me just say, i'm exhausted! So I apologise if there are lots of spelling errors in the following post...
Well today I took all three kids to a indoor play centre down the road, met up with two of my friends and little madam's 'official' boyfriend I should say (she has many now haha). Little madam refused to crawl forwards lol she insists on going backwards, however she was keen to stand up a lot which I look at as a good sign. Maybe she will just walk! haha bless her, I'm just happy to have her as a baby for as long as possible :-)
So yeah, started Lou's xmas shopping today. I'm making a xmas hamper for her and the man :-) picked up a few bits and bobs in town. Hope she likes! Can't wait to see her in a week or so :D
It looks as though the other half and I will be looking at getting him a place back in college. He is really keen to qualify so that he can work in schools as a computer technician. This means he will have to cut back to part time and I will have to get a second job but I don't really see it as being a problem as such. I mean it's not as if I don't know how to live as a poor person lol I've managed the last couple of years, why not last a few more and get a massive bonus at the end if he lands the job he wants?!
Ergh, i'm so tired and I don't even know why!!! Anyway, better plough on, i'm forcing myself to sort through the washing before bed - that way I should be able to wangle a lie-in :D Plan! x

Really not feeling great lately, been like it for a while now :-( The other half called in sick as well today, we're not doing well are we?! Even little madam was poorly on Thursday bless her. Just sat playing my online bingo and watching cowboy builders now lol
Tomorrow I am going to make it my mission to get the landing papered and fill in the holes in the bathroom ready for painting. I just need a stash of cash to just get this flipping house done! Apologies to those of you that I owe some money to, I haven't forgotten you at all and I will get a move on as soon as possible.
As mentioned on Facebook, I am on the look out for a trustworthy babysitter on Thursday 25th Nov, from 10am-6pm(ish). The reason I ask is because I can not afford for little madam to be put in nursery that day seeing as she will be in all day the day before aswel, and I really really really need this overtime as at the end of the month I will be losing my evening shift. So yeah if anyone is around that day then give us a shout :-)

Well little madam did her first whole day in nursery today so that I could do some over-time at work. She stayed in from 8.15am until 5.15pm! The nursery nurses said that you would never know that hse hadn't stayed all day before because she was so good and happy! :-) my little angel :D
We had our house inspection last week and here is the damage...
- The mystery door that was found in the kitchen wall is to be covered over again and remain hidden, however they are going to replaster the wall and give us a new cupboard (seeing as the other half dropped the last one and it smashed!!)
- We are going to get a new glass panel for our front door :D
- The bottom step on the stairs has been repaired and is looking good.
- We are having a new floor panel put up on the landing.
- The hole in the wall in the bathroom is being filled, we've yet to hear about a new shower being plumbed in.
-We can expect a decorating grant between £50-£70.
-We are yet to hear about the back garden (regarding the base of the knocked down porch)
So yes, the inspection went quite well :-)
Our new dining table looks lush! bit of a tight squeeze at the moment because we are having to keep our tele on the desk seeing as we don't yet have a tv unit. So much to buy!!
Going to have to concentrate all my efforts on little madam's 1st birthday and christmas now though as I think money is going to be tight on that as wel.
I hope there will be a good turn out for little madams birthday party :-)

Just got back from the firework display down the road - it was really good :-) The kids enjoyed it, little madam just wasn't sure (however she LOVED her glow stick!) and the other half was so hyper it was like having a forth child :P
As soon as we got home we sat and watched the end of X Factor whilst the kids ate a yogurt and little madam finished her nap in the pram - bless x
I have spent the day peeling the yellow chipped paper on the landing/up the stairs, it's looking so much better already. Just need the other half to steam off the rest and also take down the tiles in the bathroom, then we can begin painting!! wahoo! I have so many ideas for this house...

It has just this minute been confirmed that the love of my life is definately coming to London to do christmas shopping at the end of the month! Hopefully it will be a good trip :-) Now need to find out from my boss if I can borrow her pram, it's tiny in comparison to mine, or should I say little madams!
The CBeebies card has now been sent off :-) look out for it on the 30th Nov - I hope they show it!
Speaking of little madam, she is sat here next to me eating her apple, raisin and cinnamon bakey bakies! yum yum she managed to say 'hiya' the other day whilst waving :D She's sooooo cute! munching away with her two little toothy-pegs hehe.
Okaaaay, there was a loud crash coming from the kitchen, the cupboards just fell off the wall!! Stop with the DIY my sweet, it's safer that way! Oh dear, can't wait until our inspector comes out on Friday, hopefully we can get a clearer idea of the work ahead. Sob :-(
Just a quick shout out to Bruce's daddy who I think I will name Monkey-Man :P Hope tomorrow goes well, thinking of you :-) x x

Happy Halloweeeeeen!!!
It's little madam's first ever halloween! We will be carving her first pumpkin later :) She also made a wand at nursery earlier in the week. Unfortunately we never got to bring it home because she has been off for the rest of the week as she was in so much pain with her teeth.
I had my opticians appointment today and I am FINALLY getting new glasses in a weeks time, they are very snazzy! totally different to the ones I am wearing at the moment.
I am in the process of trying to hire a decorator to take care of the very tall hallway/stairway. The chip paper needs steaming off and then re-doing (without the chips!!) Hopefully they won't be too expensive!
Im hoping our neighbour won't be too loud tonight, they warned us at the beginning of the week that they are planning a halloween party for tonight. We were invited as wel but I don't think we will be making an appearance, I just want to chill out! Even though I have had all week off I feel like I have been on the go 24/7.

I'm really behind on my blog already!
********Sooty and Mischief would have been 10 year old yesterday - RIP Babies :-( ********
Today I have been tearing down that godforsaken wall paper that was up in the lounge, it looked AWFUL and now... well now it look silly because not all of the paper has come off, will need to be steamed. The other half just wants to rip all the tongue and groove down and be done with it! I don't know what is underneath it so i'm a bit weary.
You should have seen me trying to put the washing on the line this morning! It was so windy that it kept slapping me in the face!! To top that as soon as I finished putting everything on the line it started tipping it down with ran! NOT AMUSED!!!
We have the kids here at the moment and as predicted we were asked if the kids could have their surname changed! lol ummm, the word NO springs to mind?!?!?!? It's a bit of a cheek to think that just because you are married you are suddenly 'daddy' without the donation of any sperm. Some people are just so greedy and selfish. The other half has stayed calmer than expected, I suppose it helped that we had already had this discussion a long time ago.
The kids keep asking when we are getting married, but i can safely say after seeing the outcome of a bodged job, I think we will be waiting until we actually have the money behind us. The fact of the matter is, yes me and the other half are very happy together and would love to be married in an instant but if we're going to do it, we're only going to do it the once and that one time better be pretty damn spectacular because i'm not settling for wedding pictures of us sat in some lonely pub after a trip to the registry office!!
I want the full works! hey, we can dream...!
My little girl is so clever, she can show me where her head is now when I ask :-) We can nearly do nose, she knows what I mean but can't quite tap her nose with her fingers just yet. Give us time and we will master the said task!
oh happy days :-) x

We've moved house!!
Wahoo! we've moved and have so much more room. I wouldn't exactly say we are settled as yet, the house still looks like a building site, what with all the DIY going on! My boss has given me my new bible - the Ikea catalogue!! I get paid next week so think I might be putting in an order!!
I just want to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who helped move our things and help with all the transportation. Much appreciated!!
Onwards...
Well I have spent the last week getting up at 5.30am every morning so I get to work on time! This is my new lifestyle, up at silly o clock each morning! at least I have a valid excuse for a sleep in on my days off!
Little madam is doing fine, her second tooth is on its way out so a part from the odd grumble she is growing, laughing and playing her little heart out :D
We have the girls for the weekend starting tomorrow. They were bridesmaids last week so i'm sure they will be high as kites!!
As for the news of the day: Mitchel caught his first mouse!!!!! (well technically it was a vowl - or however you spell it!) I'm SOOO proud :D

Choo Choo.... Oh yeaaahhhh!
I had an AMAZING time at Alton Towers on Monday! I went on near enough everything! It was just me and Uncle Fester on Oblivion because the others chickened out lol
The other half enjoyed himself as did Miss J and Lou. The rapids were fun and WET! I think the quote of the day will stay with us for a good while "enjoy the ride... choo choo... oh yeah..." lmao!!!
Little Madam had a good time with Miss J's mummy, I don't know who had more fun, her or little madam!
Thank you very much to everyone who helped celebrate both mine and the other half's birthdays this month. Had an amazing month, lets just hope the October brings us more laughs and fun!
ps: Happy birthday to Nana - 72 today :-)

It's my birthday on Saturday!! starting to hit home now! :-)
I am really looking forward to the weekend, we are spending Sunday and Monday night with my family, even Lou is coming as wel. It should be really good! Little madam is going to be spending those two nights with Miss J's mummy :-)
Today I am getting pieces together for little madam's CBeebie's birthday card :D I really hope they show it, if not I am going to take lots of pictures of it the show little madam when she is older as we don't get the card back.
We're still packing, hoping to move a load of boxes over to the new house next weekend and then move in the following weekend provided the paperwork has gone through. Our gas and electric have both passed! :D

Can't believe he didn't show up :-( we've pulled out all the furniture in every room so there would be easy access to each plug socket and i've been waiting in all day especially and been unable to do any wasing in case they had to cut the electric in the middle of a wash.
FUMING
They should be here at the end of the week now...

The electric check has been brought forward to tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yay!!!! hopefully they will come in and say we have passed and then we just wait for the go ahead to move and we're outta here! woop woop!
Had a fun night last night, whilst I was on the phone to Lou a HUGE daddylonglegs decided to barge in and scared the **** out of me! The other half kindly disposed of the intruder. Whilst eating our tea the other half decided to choke on a pea which scared the **** out of him. I saved his life!
And later that evening the other half decided that I was his MILF and suggested that he should be my DILF hahahahahaha
My gorgeous cat Socks decided he didn't want to come home last night. The other half was calling him for just over an hour and tried EVERYTHING to get him to come home. In the end I was like "oh for gods sake" so I went to the door, did one call and he appeared out of nowhere and came trotting up the path and went straight into the flat!! haha

Some bad news i'm afraid...
On Saturday there was a loft fire at our new house. It didn't spread to the rest of the house luckily and we are now waiting on assessments to determine wether the house is now safe etc... Luckily my sister-in-law and niece are both safe and no harm done.
On the bright side...
The fridge freezer arrived today and looks lush! I may also have a new bed, wardrobe, drawers and a desk by the end of the month too! excellent! Many thanks to Miss L :-)
Quick shout out to the ever clumsy Miss J, hope your arm isn't broken!!!!!

Both me and the other half picked little madam up from nursery this morning :-) I like it when it's the both of us. I went to go and visit little madam's new nursery yesterday with Miss J, it looks really nice and everything is tiny! Little madam will start in January :D
Well best go and supervise the other half, he's playing with his new man-toy Bosch drill...! x

Silence!! The girls have gone back to Bude now and the flat is really quiet, a part from the other half who is currently cleaning our hand-me-down baby walker - he's pressing all the buttons that make it sing, unfortunately it doesn't appear to have an 'off' button!
I've just finished my last evening shift at work as well, so as soon as my morning shift is finished tomorrow, I will be picking little madam up from nursery and coming straight home to bed!!! I am absolutely knacked from this week working double shifts as well as having to hold the fort with three children. A big thank you to all of my friends who helped out this week, I really appreciate the help :-)
We went to Woodlands Adventure Park yesterday for a whole day of fun, and I mean a WHOLE day! The alarm went off at 6.15am and we got in at about 9.30pm! We had a couple of blips before we even got on the bus! First Mitchel decided that he was going to follow us to the bus, yowling all the way so I had to carry a very angry and upset cat all the way back to the flat. About 5 minutes before the bus was due to arrive we suddenly realised that we had forgotten little madams car seat! So the other half dashed home to grab it and arrived as the bus was about to leave.
Off we set to the train station, all went well until we got to Totnes by train, the other half was in charge of getting little madam off the train in her pram whilst I got the other two and the 'luggage' off. Anyway lots of people started to barge their way onto the train just as I got off meaning the other half was trapped. The whistles sounded and the doors shut even though the other half was still on there, I had to wave frantically and look stupid until they opened the door to help get the pram off.
Anyway, we met Miss E, Miss J and the sis - Lou on the platform. Hadn't seen Lou since May so little madam looked all grown up to her! We divided into the two cars and set off for our day at woodlands!
The day went really well, the weather just about held up and the kids got to experince the magic that is Woodlands :-) Slides, rides, toboggan run...! haha
At about 5pm we decided we should make tracks seeing as we had to find somewhere to have our tea before getting the train home. Miss E had to leave to go home at this point. We managed to find a very nice pub serving Carvery and pudding all for a fiver each :-) After eating we said good bye to Miss J and boarded the train back home to Plymouth.
Lou stayed the night last night, we stayed up and watched 'My super ex girlfriend' nd then passed out from exhaustion.
I was up at 6am to get ready to go to work. After, I got home and got the kids ready so we could go and visit 'Aunty C' (the other half's sister). I wanted to show Lou our 'new' house :-) I got all excited seeing the house thinking of all my many ideas for the place! Anyway we stayed for an hour or two and then made our way home where we finished getting the flat tidy. We then said good bye to Lou and her BF (who came to pick her up).
So yes, it has been a long long week!! I'm having tea in just a moment! Lamb grills!!! :D

Just had our flat inspection and we passed :-) all that remains is having a gas and electric check, once those are complete we should be all set to go ahead with the move. Little madam's nursery have already offered her more hours in Sept if we need it whilst we are trying to move.
Off to bingo in Torquay tonight :-) hoping to scoop the jackpot!! or at least enough to pay for a new fridge/freezer! We are introducing Miss E to our new found craze! Wish us all luck! I'm so hooked on it it's crazy, I won £60 last night on posh bingo haha!
Little madam is fast asleep bless her, hopefully she won't sleep until 4pm like she did yesterday! I'm hoping to get her weighed later on today and then as far as i'm aware she is supposed to be going to her nanny and grandad's for the afternoon :-)
We're picking up the kids on Saturday and then they will be down for the week until bank holiday monday. It's little miss K's 7th birthday on monday aswel so looks like I am going to be skint! Lou (the sis) is visiting at the end of next week! Can't wait!! It's been AGES since she saw little madam! May to be precise!

What a night! It was hilarious from start to finish. We began the evening at Miss J's house and the other half was in charge of the bbq which he did very well with despite the light showers!
Little madam got lots of attention which wore her out quite early on, she ended up playing golf games on the tv with Miss J's dad and then crashing out on the bed. Think she enjoyed herself though!
The rest of us proceeded to get very drunk and laugh at everything, and I mean everything. Singstar came out as well which was also funny. Me, Bruce and Miss E decided we all needed to go to the toilet so we went together. I ended up knocking over my wine all over the floor so Miss E tried to mop up whilst laughing her head off. Bruce went to the toilet next and when she went to pull up her pants, she had a massive giggling fit and couldnt manage it. To make things even more hilarious, Miss E somehow managed to lean on the door handle and fall out the door backwards whilst Bruce was still trying to pull up her pants!! I was in stitches!! I left to go and tell everyone what had happened whilst Miss E took a funny and embarrassing picture of Bruce!
At about 11pm we all set off to Enigma (the place to be on a fabulous night out in Newton!) and we enjoyed quite a few more beverages! Smoo took loads of embarrassing pictures and I recorded lots of funny videos, you can't actually see what is happening but you can hear all the drunken conversations. At one point we found a guy that we used to go to school with! and Miss E pulled :-)
By about 2am-ish I knew I needed my usual end-of-night cheeseburger so the other half came with me to queue for food. After that we decided it was home time and away we went. I somehow managed to get myself into bed and slept until nearly 2pm!!
I woke to have a lovely roast cooked by Miss J's fantastic mummy! :-) I felt sooo full after that! Miss J then drove me, the other half and little madam all the way home. It felt so good to just relax after that. Although saying that, the relaxing didn't last long because me and the other half have been busy going over colour charts for the new house and looking at getting a new fridge/freezer. And of course I have been playing my online free bingo! woop woop!
Nothing else new to report, although it does look as though a few of us are game for a gala bingo session this Thursday! :-)

Friday the 13th was definately lucky for us :-)
I know, I know... I'm getting my hopes up here BUT the other halfs sister has offered to do a mutual exchange with us!!! She is in a two bedroom house and the bedrooms are a really good size. The small bedroom is the same size as our large one so it's all good. We have handed in our forms and we are now waiting for everything to all be approved but one of the officers have already said it should be a very easy swap and we should be looking at moving in the next 4-6 weeks!!!
The house will need a lot of work, especially the garden as there is lots of scrap concrete blocks all over the place, all needs digging up and chucking out. And then the whole place needs decorating so going to be VERY busy leading up to christmas!
Well it's Saturday now and is 'the day!' or rather 'the night!' haha Me and my very good friends are having our annual night out tonight in Newton Abbot! I really can't wait! Little madam is being babysat by Miss J's mummy and the other half is coming out on the raz as well! Should be good, althought i'm not looking forward to the hangover tomorrow morning haha!
Watch this space for funny stories...!!!

Cardiff
.jpg)
I'm in Cardiff! i've been visiting my best friend Bruce. What a start to the journey though! - I locked me and Bruce out of the house!! Had to go all the way into town to get the key off the other half! Anyway, we finally got here!
Today we had our photoshoot which was great! Had our hair styled and make up done so we looked very pretty!
Little madam had a slight hissy fit in the middle of the shoot but she is really tired bless her. Personally I think she makes an amazing little model hehe!
I have the rest of the week off work now so lots of time to spend with little madam! My boss is away on holiday, I need to thank her for lending me the dresses for the photo shoot!
Gaz (Bruce's boyfriend) has come over for din dins and to see little madam. I havent seen him since the christening.
The other two kids have gone back home now with their mum, won't see them again until the 21st. We will be celebrating little miss K's 7th birthday that week. Really struggling to find childcare on the Wednesday and Thursday morning until I finish work at 10am. Sure things will sort themselves out.
Right best leave it here for now as my cheesecake is being served! hehe Back home tomorrow :-)

I'm not feeling to great, something is definately going round because the other half has been feeling ill on and off, and also Miss J is poorly (Get well soon!).
Me and Bruce are introducing Smoo to the world of bingo tonight!! Gala Bingo should soooo be paying me for recruiting all these new members!! I could work on commision!! I'm still on the good old ebay as well. Sold quite a bit now.
The flat is looking like a bomb has hit it! Needs a serious tidy up and a good clean. Im supposed to be somehow cooking a roast for 7 of us in what I can't really call a kitchen just yet! I think i'm going to leave the laundry today, looks like it might rain.
Loving Big Brother at the moment! I know, there is probably a disappointed sigh let out by most of you, BUT it IS the last proper one so technically it is TV history! and they have done a really good job on it this year, definately my favourite one. The tasks are great and the housemates are really funny.
Oh my god I feel soooo sick!!! Now I know what you're going to say before I even tell you why! The fact is... I ate gone off yoghurt purely because it was due to go off today and I didn't want to waste it! hahaha!! This is what poor-ness does to a person!! I've been offered a little overtime at the end of the month so hopefully that will boost my first pay cheque up a bit!
Let's hope for a big win tonight people!! Not long until little madam will be ONE!!! and then CHRISTMAS!!! lord help me financially!!!

Hangover after hangover...
I have had a really good weekend, it's not often I say it. I went out Friday night with Miss J (my first 'official' follower on this blog - haha!) Saturday I spent the day hungover but managed to get the kids that live around here to cut the grass, And yesterday (Sunday) was little madam's boyfriends christening.
Back to the same old (but new) routine today of working until 10am, picking little madam up from nursery to coming home and dealing with ebay before putting her down for her THREE HOUR NAP!! It's amazing, nursery completely knocks her out! Imagine when she starts full time! She will start falling asleep in her dinner! hehe
The other half decided to have a mini 'night out' on Saturday straight from work. Very last minute and all paid for by his boss. Anyway, he got home at about 1.30am-ish. Completely drunk and all over the place. He sat down on the sofa for a while and then said he felt sick. So he decided he needed some air... twenty minutes later..... I looked out into the garden to find he had disappeared!! I called his name for a while but nothing. I went back inside and rang him. He picked up and was drunkenly telling me that he was sat on the curb at the end of the garden - the fact he was breathing quickly as if he was power walking gave it away slightly that he was in fact NOT at the end of the garden! Yet he insisted he was... After getting him back in the flat he made his way to bed, and got his own trousers off before passing out. And that was the end of that!
He suffered the next day at the christening with a hang over. And for the record he has since remembered that he was walking to the school down the road and in actual fact NOT at the end of the garden when I called!

It's 12.11pm and I still waiting for Miss J and little madam to wake up!! They are sharing a room seeing as we FINALLY changed the room round. The other half is now on his way back from Bude after picking the kids up, they are going to have a little suprise seeing their new room.
Ooo, I hear Miss J coughing! do we have life?!....no?
I had more parcels delivered from ebay today, the postman keeps laughing at me. Today he said "surely there aren't more?" so I said i've bought the entire lot! I'm in the process of setting up my own account (I currently use the other halfs) and on mine i'm going to be selling little madams clothes and stuff that doesn't fit.
I've been given the day off today as my employer isn't feeling great. Hope she gets well soon. Feel rather guilty still being at home in my PJs! Think I might go and get dressed and do what I can around the house whilst waiting for the other two to wake up. I really need to finish that room, got stacks of clothes and toys to still fit in!

Busy bee! :-)
I'm now a 'working mum!'. I work every morning from 7-10am and until 12.30pm on a fri. Which gives me pretty much most of the day to spend with little madam! She has started going to nursery now, I can't believe it!! She's very nearly 8 months old now! Her daddy drops her off at 8.15am on his way to work and I pick her up at 10.15am :-)
I am enjoying work, I especially love the dogs! hehe
Bruce has been speaking to me online today and we have finally organised a date for my 'early birthday present' from her. We r going to Cardiff on 10th/11th August and i'm having a makeover/photoshoot :D We're going to take little madam aswell and have proper 'girls time' yay! Need to tell the other half... haha!
I went to see Bruce sing the other day in Teignmouth. It was a really sunny and hot day. Bruce sang fabulously well. There were loads of people there including me, the other half, little madam and Miss J. Also my family were there and were awful. They barely said a word to me and just about passed acting civil, and thats all it was... plain old acting :-(
Oh to have a 'normal' family... it's a joke.
My 2nd to youngest sister 'lala' played her cello in the concert and also played very well. The best bit was when she headed straight over to me and little madam after the concert to say hello. At least some of the family have common decency.
After the concert we got a Carvery in Chudleigh Knighton which was lush although I couldn't finish it as I had lost my appetite.

I spent all of last night thinking about our tiny little flat. It's starting to get to me how little madam is still having to share our bedroom. I rang the other half this morning to give him an ultimatum. It's the car or moving house. Now as he's been after a car a lot longer than moving i'm pretty sure he will choose the car which is fine, but my conditions are that we all swap rooms in the flat so all three kids would share a room in either our room or the lounge and we would have the smallest bedroom.
Sooo stressed. Things need to change around here!
Anyway, the driving went ok. I stalled on a hill and swore haha. Need to check when i'm able to have my next lesson.
I started my new job, it went very well for my first day. I get on really well with my employer. She will be moving up the road this weekend so when I go back on Monday I will literally have to walk up the road and i'm there!
Nope, it's no good. I can't stop thinking about the flat!! I've even drawn up plans of what I want changed!!

OMG!
I totally forgot that it's my driving lesson tomorrow! Scary!!! I'm really hoping I get the hang of it.
Little madam has been really lively today! She's eating and drinking a lot more which is great, so hopefully she'll be putting on more weight. I might take her to get weighed again next week.
I start my job on Friday morning, I may also have the opportunity to work 7-9am weekdays as well for the same lady which will be good. It will mean having to find little madam a nursery to go to on Tuesday mornings, she'll be with her daddy until 8am and then with her nanny until just after 9 on all the other days. It works out perfectly.
I'm going to see Bruce sing on Sunday, it will be the first time the other half and little madam have heard her sing. The recital will be right near the sea front, so hoping for nice weather.
We have got the dates for when we have the kids this summer. It looks like we'll have them on little miss K's 7th birthday which is the first time ever for us since me and the other half have been together. Think pizza hut and bowling is planned. I've been busy trying to find suitable presents, wanted to get her lots of little presents rather than one big one, thats the fun of birthdays when you're younger isn't it? You want lots and lots of presents!
Hello Mitchel, he's come to join me on the sofa and is watching me type :-) it's gone 1am and the virgin media box has suddenly crashed meaning I can no longer catch up on the rest of my soaps!! Oh well, bed time me thinks, have to be up early to take little madam to Jump with her boyfriend :-) Plus it's not going to look good if i'm knackered for my driving lesson!!
Wish me luck!...

On the mend :-)
Yay!! Little madam is finally getting better! she's more alert and vocal - chatting away to herself! Today (Monday) little madam took a 6oz bottle, a jar of food and lots of biscuits. She's also taken a little water. She hasn't been sick in over 24 hours, it's all good news!
We are going to try and go to our FINAL music class tomorrow, it's so sad that it's going to be the last one. I must remember to take a teddy bear, that's what the leader has instructed me to bring with us! I really need to look into baby swimming classes now, I love having a class to go to with little madam, it gives us more 'us time' :-)
Little madam is developing away, she's trying to sit up a lot more now, she's still very wobbly but as of tomorrow (tuesday) we will have a bumbo seat which should help with her posture. She is now saying 'ta' when offered her bottle or biscuit. She is also waving now which is sooo sweet!
We've got £160 left to pay for our professional pictures that we had done, I can't wait!!
Tomorrow will be quite busy actually because in the afternoon I need to go and sort my contract out for my new part time job! exciting!

Trip to hospital at 4am :-(
Things aren't exactly going great for little madam at the moment I'm afraid. Last night she began being sick again and again and again, one after the other. It got to the point where I was too scared to go to sleep, just in case. Anyway, the other half rang our out of hours doctors who immediately wanted to see her. We had to wake up the mother in law so we could have a lift to the hospital. The brother in law came over to watch the other two kids so that the other half could come with me and little madam.
Little madam was in a daze the whole time, although she did manage a small smile for her nanny. We got to the hospital and were basically told that she has a virus and there is not a lot we can do about it because of her age. Our main focus is to make sure she doesn't get too dehydrated. She is already showing signs - dryer nappies and also sort of passing out when she is being sick. If her mouth begins to go dry then poor little madam will most likely have to be admitted to hospital and have tubes etc giving her fluids :-(
I'm really hoping that she gets well soon, she's been ill since Tuesday now. Please can you all wish my little one well. Really don't want to to get to the point where she's in hospital on a drip like I was when I was pregnant with her, it's horrible.

Poorly baby :-(
My poor baby has and is still ill. She has picked up a bug that is going round and is struggling to keep anything down. She's really unsettled and just generally miserable. Thursday night was one of my most scariest as a mummy, little madam was urging and couldnt bring anything up and so began choking, I was in tears and panicking so the other half took control of the whole situation.
I like to think that I was more in control of my feelings last night when she began urging again.
The kids are down this weekend and are under punishment from their mum because of something they did down there. They aren't going out with Nanny and Grandad today, instead i've got them home helping me around the house and doing homework etc...
I'm supposed to be going out to a friends tonight to meet up with old work friends but I think I will have to cancel because little madam just isn't right yet and if the other two kids catch it then I can't really expect the other half to deal with all three on his own!
I have a new hobby lately : Ebay! love it, i've found some good bargains. I'm collecting mainly flute music to begin my teaching to get some extra pennies in. Also I figured I can start accumulating christmas presents for the kids now and then it won't cost so much nearer the time.

A bit of history for you!

This is me!! The picture is of me in the gymnastics team at school, March 1999.
I remember being really nervous the day I had to perform my routine to the whole school, they put the gym mats in the middle of the room like a boxing ring and there were people surrounding the mats all around. I prayed that my long legs wouldn't end up hitting someone in the face!
Little madam's photo shoot went really well on Monday. It took a while for her to relax around a new camera but we got some fantastic smiles and she even stayed on her tummy for some of the shots! The pictures should arrive two weeks after I finish paying.
It's 9.20am and both me and little madam are sat in the lounge whilst she finishes her bottle and then we are off for our morning nap as it's been exhausting these last few days! Last night me and the other half decided to catch up on the soaps in bed, little madam woke up and lay on her side to watch them too! and then we were joined by Mitchel (who fell asleep in the laundry basket) and Socks - who plonked himself right in the middle of me and the other half!
Yesterday we went to our music class which was the last one at the lady's house, next week is our final session altogether up at the park so hoping for really nice weather! I invited the ladies to our 'morning session' at Jump every Thursday so it looks like we can all keep meeting every week and stay in touch!
I wonder if little madam's boyfriends christening present will arrive today?
Oh no, was hoping for nicer weather today, the clouds are getting heavier. I really need our grass cutting today! It's looking like a bit of a jungle out there lately.
I forgot to say, last night at about 10.30pm I went outside to get the cats in as I don't like them out at night. Anyway Sock's was already there sat on the rabbit hutch but Mitchel was nowhere to be seen so I went down the road calling "Mitch" and about a million black cats appeared!! None of them were Mitchel! Some of them had really funny meows! There was even a little black kitten with a sweet collar on that tried to pass off as Mitchel. I came back home to tell the other half that I couldnt find him and it turned out he was sleeping in our shoe rack!!! (his latest hiding place!)
Right it's down pouring with rain now so must try to find Mitchel!

So annoyed :-(
It's 10am and I've just realised we're missing one of our shopping bags from yesterday! It has got all the ingrediants for our tea today! What is worse is that it has little madam's tea in there as well.
I'm skint enough as it is today as we have little madam's photo shoot this afternoon, it's usually an expensive - but worth it, job.
Let's hope that today gets a little better!

Sunday - a day of rest
Today the other half's parents took little madam for the afternoon so that we could go into town and watch a film at the cinema. We ended up going to see Shrek (3) in 3D which was very funny (love, love, love puss in boots!!)
We've just got home and little madam is knackered, no idea what she's been up to today but i'm sure she's been shouting "dada" all afternoon as she always does and kicking both legs up in the air and slamming them to the ground - a new phase she's going through lately! Any way, she's tucked up in her cot now having a rest before her evening 'bot bot'
I'm sat relaxing on the sofa watching the 2010 World Cup Final, Netherlands verses Spain. I'm completely impartial on this game at a guess I would have to say I think Spain will win.

My first ever driving lesson is now booked for Thursday 22nd July!! Exciting stuff. The man sounds really nice and he also told me that I don't have to have a years worth of driving behind me to take my test so lets get this show on the road!! (literally).
Today has turned out to be a waste of a day really (minus organising my driving) Miss J has gone home now and little madam has gone down for her afternoon nap. I was hoping to go shopping this afternoon as theres lots still to get. It looks like it is going to rain soon, the clouds are getting darker so I called in Mitchel and Socks. Socks is crashed out on the table as I type! - sleepy kitty!
Yesterday at the school fair we picked up a few educational games for the kids so homework should be a blast next time they are down! It won't be long before I have to dig it all out again for little madam!
Right now i've got the top 40 on and i'm still in my PJs! It's currently 2.30pm!!

I WON!!! :-)
Yay! I won £70 which will come in very handy indeed. Bruce has decided that she LOVES bingo and will be visiting again soon! We came home and ate chinese and sang on sing star. I also treated myself to five new tracks.
Today has been a long day, starting with our Asda delivery. Once everything had been put away we loaded up the car and setted of for Newton Abbot. We called in on my old babysitter to say 'hello' which was nice. The weather was so much niced in Newton Abbot compared to Plymouth. After we called in we went up to our old primary school for it's 30th birthday reunion/summer fair. It was so strange seeing all my old teachers (most of which didn't recognise me until I said my name!).
Me and the other half decided to have a meal at Wetherspoons and ended up bumping into Miss King! We invited Miss J to join us, which she did and even ended up driving us to visit her mum and then drove us all the way back to Plymouth!
We are now watching Big Brother on channel 4 +1 who will go? It's between Nathan and John James. I reckon the public will vote Nathan to go out. We shall see...

Off to Gala bingo in a bit with two of my very good chums! Bruce and Miss J!
Right now though i'm sat watching Big Brothers Little Brother and eating strawberrys with the other half and Bruce. Little madam has gone down for her nap after a very long and exhausting day. This morning we went to 'Jump' which is an indoor play area and has a section for 0-3's. We went with little madam's friend and boyfriend.

Afterwards she spent the afternoon with her Nanny and Grandad.
Nothing new on the job hunt, still searching and hoping. The part time job I have as a PA will begin as the CRB arrives and it's only up the road! Should be interesting as it's something I have never done before.
Socks and Mitchel are no where to be seen. Luckily it's started cooling down lately as they have HATED the heatwaves! The bunnies are becoming much more sociable as well, they kind of sit up when you approach the cage. Nostrills is doing ok as well and enjoying her new wooden house.
Well as you can all see, everything is going well. Keep your fingers crossed for my big win at bingo tonight...!!!

Today has been a nightmare already and it's only 10am! Unfortunately me and little madam have missed our usual Tuesday morning singing/dance class. I've been faffing around trying to find our electric key and it turns out that the other half thought the big note on the table saying ELECTRIC KEY was for him and so he took it with him to work!! So yes, I went to go to apologize to little madam about running so late only to find her fast asleep holding all her toys in the cot! How sweet! - if she was awake though we could have gone to Baby Group or rather "snugglies" as they call it which is down the road!
Well my cat Sock's seems to think that the pram I have dragged out of the cupboard is for him. He's managed to wedge himself underneath the raincover at the very top and has promptly fallen asleep. It's just me and my other cat Mitchel thats awake now. I get the feeling I may regret not going back to sleep while little madam is sleeping.
I feel rather helpless today now! What to do? I darent do any washing as the electric will most likely go seeing as we are now in emergency credit! I would love to take little madam swimming but i'm letting the side down by not having a swimming costume and plus the other half wants to be there for her first "swim" which is understandable. I have already looked into aqua baby classes as soon as I sort myself out with a costume, I can't wait!
I suppose I could always go and catch up on Eastenders...

Peace and silence!
I can not believe how quiet it is!! Kids have gone home, little madam in bed for a late nap and Miss J is now travelling back home. Me and the other half are currently searching for some good tracks to add onto sing star as soon as the pennies arrive.
I've spent the afternoon doing spellings, handwriting, reading and writing - done my good deed for the day, now to relax and watch desperate housewives and big brother this evening. The cherry bakewells are yet to be opened.
Had a really good night out last night with Miss J, lots of wine was consumed and plenty of laughs and singing occured as well. Even got to have a fantastic lie in too! It's all good!
Off to see little madams boyfriend tomorrow, hope the weather is a little nicer - seems to go from one extreme to the other!!

Well I don't know how i'm awake right now after getting about 2 hours of sleep. No it wasn't little madam keeping me awake, me and Miss J were singing our little hearts out on sing star until the early hours of this morning. We discovered the magic of Queen's 'Bicycle' song!!
I've had to get all three kids ready today which was really hard as the weather is being so indecisive! shorts, trousers? I have got a load of washing on as well which I am now worried about, it looks like it may have a down pour out there - Typical!
Little madam is sleeping peacefully after a bowl of porridge and 7oz bottle! It's alright for some isn't it? She's taken to sleeping on her side lately which only makes her look even more cute.
Great, upstairs has decided it's time for clubbing music - on that note...

Thank god it's not June any more!
There were soooo many bills in June, where did most of them come from?! July looks to be a bit brighter although still got lots to buy as we are going to the christening of little madams boyfriend on Aug 1st.
Each day has dragged lately so hoping for a more upbeat week. Can't quite believe that my little madam is already 7 months! So she's well on her way to completing her 1st year as an actual human being (I'm still in shock!!) She makes me laugh every day and she is just too cute! It was her first time in one of those baby seats you get on supermarket trolleys today. Usually she gets put in the trolley in her car seat and has to look a long way up but today I thought she could handle the horrible plastic seat, which she did. She ended up distracting me the whole way round the shop making me laugh with her tutting and "dada" noises.
The other half came home laden with chocolate and flowers last night which was nice. We've only been together for two and a half years yet so much has happened! A trip is planned to Alton Towers later this year as a joint birthday, very excited!
Still missing little sis (she's moved miles away for the start of her career). Feels strange to think she used to be around here pretty much every day and now I don't know when our next meet up will be. Missing the littler sis's even more as we hardly EVER get to see each other with them being at boarding school. Hope the GCSE's went well x
Right, off to find my mischievious kitty cats :) x

If you had said to me a couple of years back that by 2010 I would be settled down with three children in my life and have a wonderful partner who supports me in every decision I make and had all the pets my heart desires... I would have laughed!
It's funny how things turn out. You always think your life is mapped out in front of you, but what we fail to realise is that life is never that simple. Life would certainly be boring if all was predictable.
Right now i'm on a huge rollarcoaster in the big wide world and instead of closing my eyes and hoping it ends soon, i'm embracing every day with my family and friends, definately enjoying the ride!
Who needs past when there is so much more to enjoy in the present/future?!?
