Silence!! The girls have gone back to Bude now and the flat is really quiet, a part from the other half who is currently cleaning our hand-me-down baby walker - he's pressing all the buttons that make it sing, unfortunately it doesn't appear to have an 'off' button!
I've just finished my last evening shift at work as well, so as soon as my morning shift is finished tomorrow, I will be picking little madam up from nursery and coming straight home to bed!!! I am absolutely knacked from this week working double shifts as well as having to hold the fort with three children. A big thank you to all of my friends who helped out this week, I really appreciate the help :-)
We went to Woodlands Adventure Park yesterday for a whole day of fun, and I mean a WHOLE day! The alarm went off at 6.15am and we got in at about 9.30pm! We had a couple of blips before we even got on the bus! First Mitchel decided that he was going to follow us to the bus, yowling all the way so I had to carry a very angry and upset cat all the way back to the flat. About 5 minutes before the bus was due to arrive we suddenly realised that we had forgotten little madams car seat! So the other half dashed home to grab it and arrived as the bus was about to leave.
Off we set to the train station, all went well until we got to Totnes by train, the other half was in charge of getting little madam off the train in her pram whilst I got the other two and the 'luggage' off. Anyway lots of people started to barge their way onto the train just as I got off meaning the other half was trapped. The whistles sounded and the doors shut even though the other half was still on there, I had to wave frantically and look stupid until they opened the door to help get the pram off.
Anyway, we met Miss E, Miss J and the sis - Lou on the platform. Hadn't seen Lou since May so little madam looked all grown up to her! We divided into the two cars and set off for our day at woodlands!
The day went really well, the weather just about held up and the kids got to experince the magic that is Woodlands :-) Slides, rides, toboggan run...! haha
At about 5pm we decided we should make tracks seeing as we had to find somewhere to have our tea before getting the train home. Miss E had to leave to go home at this point. We managed to find a very nice pub serving Carvery and pudding all for a fiver each :-) After eating we said good bye to Miss J and boarded the train back home to Plymouth.
Lou stayed the night last night, we stayed up and watched 'My super ex girlfriend' nd then passed out from exhaustion.
I was up at 6am to get ready to go to work. After, I got home and got the kids ready so we could go and visit 'Aunty C' (the other half's sister). I wanted to show Lou our 'new' house :-) I got all excited seeing the house thinking of all my many ideas for the place! Anyway we stayed for an hour or two and then made our way home where we finished getting the flat tidy. We then said good bye to Lou and her BF (who came to pick her up).
So yes, it has been a long long week!! I'm having tea in just a moment! Lamb grills!!! :D
