Merry Christmas 2011 :-)

Merry Christmas one and all! Yes the big day is finally here although our 'big day' won't actually be here until tomorrow as that's when Little Miss K and J will be joining us. Slightly hacked off as the other half just rang his parents to double check what time they will be picking him up to go and get the kids only to find out they are being really laid back saying that they won't go until around 9ish and thats what time he is supposed to be there by (bare in mind it's an hour and a half hour journey there!) Think they are now discussing it and going to ring us back Grrr another added stress...
Moving on...! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO LITTLE MISS J! She is 7 years old today, we will be celebrating her birthday on the 30th as we want to keep everything seperate from xmas. Also a very happy birthday to my Grandpa :-) He also has a christmas birthday!
Going to keep this as it is, MERRY XMAS!!!!!

Arrrggghhhhhh forgot to give little madam her advent calender today :-( aww she will have to have two tomorrow. Bless her we just heard her crying upstairs in her room so I went up to see if she was ok only to find that she had fallen out of bed and as I had put her in a sleeping bag she couldn't stand up to get back in!

I'm waiting for my cheque to clear so I can go for a midnight shop in tesco lol Got such a busy day tomorrow buying stock for my business. On wednesday I am travelling to Bude to see my step daughter Little miss J perform in her Year 2 xmas concert. Me and little madam will be staying with my Grandma :-) Unfortunately the other half can't make it as we can't get a lift there and back. He wouldn't get back in time for work the next day if he stayed over. So yeah I am the only support she has Hopkins wise :-(

HAPPY 2ND BIRTHDAY LITTLE MADAM!!!!

Hurray little madam's 2nd birthday is finally here. We had a great party at the weekend at our local church hall. It was a good turn out and meant we could play lots of party games! As predicted none of my family attended but my friends definately made up for it. My friends mean the world to me and I really appreciate the role they each play in my life.
Little madam has been SPOILT! She has soooo many new toys! Unfortunately her daddy had to go to work today so it's just us two trapped in the lounge! (our kitchen floor has been levelled this morning so is now drying out, even the cats have been banished to my bedroom for the day!) Quote of the day so far: 'Mummy, how about some cake?' at 9.27am lol
We will be doing presents from mummy and daddy this evening, I can't wait to see her face when she see's her new Peppa Pig kitchen! She will LOVE it!

Advent calander starts tomorrow :-) Little Miss K & J only have one more weekend with us until we see them on boxing day for our xmas! They have a brownie xmas party to go to on the 9th which sounds good then i'm thinking of putting up the decorations on the Sunday (11th).

Festivities are upon us :-) Its the xmas carnival tomorrow evening. I also can't WAIT until new year, Bruce and I have been keeping 'Operation Smoo code Socks' under wraps lol :-) Will be guuuuud.

Well I had an interesting wake up call today. The phone rang whilst I was having a lie-in, the other half answered whilst downstairs so I assumed it must be his mum. The other half walked upstairs saying 'I will just see if she is awake' He passed me the phone and I said 'hello' It turned out to be my long 'lost' grandad in Scotland (my dad's dad) :O I was really shocked and suprised. He thanked me for the card I sent to him a few months back and apologised for his delayed reply. He has recently had a stroke and so is only just back on his feet so to speak. Thankfully he sounded really well on the phone and we spoke for 50 minutes :-) I have promised to send some up to date pictures of little madam.
I rang my sister Lou after and told her what had happened. I will be sending her his address so she can get in touch with him :-)
I'm so happy that i'm finally being reunited with people who are rightfully my family. I know there is a long way to go but I am determined to get this family straightened out one step at a time.
In other 'news' the day got worse and the other half and I had another petty row. All because I asked what was for lunch and the other half took that as me demanding he get the food whilst I sit on my back side - not the case but hey, maybe I should just get used to people thinking the worst of me. He's been sulking upstairs watching tele ALL day...

The madness that is mid-November!

So here I am at home with a box of Roses chocolates (they were on offer, £2 a box!) looking at the s**t tip that is my house... :-( My motivation is wearing thin after finding out my house will be in turmoil for the next week or so as I have the builders in sorting hundreds of different jobs. Even basic things like dusting or sweeping the floor seems like a hardship and just thinking about it exhausts me. Don't be there thinking I have been sitting on my arse all morning because I haven't lol Nope this morning started off with my therapy (to help relieve the anxiety I face everytime I get into a car). My counceller is very nice and needs a medal for bearing with me! Today we started off sat in his car with just the engine running and measured my anxiety over 10 minutes. I wasn't allowed to distract myself dispite the fact there was a massive butterfly on the post in front of me!
It turns out I am still petrified of being in a car whilst the engine is running without a driver in the drivers seat, but that is for another session.
After that I went frogmarching around to a local information centre to try and track down Citizens Advice. They will be in next Thursday so best figure out everything I need to say. I am one of those people who ALWAYS forgets what I want to say unless I write things down.
I have picked up little madam from nursery :-) She is now upstairs watching her Peppa Pig dvd and hopefully feeling sleepy.... we can only hope. We are seeing Bruce later and we are all planning on watching the city lights being switched on :-) We will meet the other half in town.
Tomorrow is another exciting day :-) I am having the girls round for a night in. My poor other half will have to endure the house being full of only females for the night. No big deal i'm sure lol

BREAKING NEWS JUST IN!

Love the other half very much after tonights shinnanigans with his ex! He FINALLY stood up to her!!! She was basically trying to sabotage little miss K's enrollment with the Brownies which is happening this Friday by saying to her that she would be allowed to go to a school disco instead if (my) other half agreed, that way he would look like the bad guy if he said no. His ex obviously thought he would back down and say yes and was furious when he said no and even had the cheek to say 'just be warned you have upset your daughter' The other half wasn't standing for it and so rang her to say he didn't appreciate all of this and that none of this was his fault that he was being told 5 days before the enrollment after we have already re-arranged because she couldn't make her mind up. I could hear her down the phone saying 'yes but you're not listening' blah blah blah, in the end her husband came on the phone and after hearing the other halfs side of the story he said 'fair enough' and that was that! Even her own husband knew she was totally out of order!!! Hurray Progress is made :D

Well, here I am, in Cheltenham! Had a really good week so far :-) Everyone is at work during the day and Lou goes off to her lifeguard course all day so Little Madam and I are left to entertain ourselves which isn't too hard seeing as there are three beautiful kitty cats around to play with! I miss Socks and Mitchel though :-( Will see them again on Sunday though :D 

Money is ridiculously tight at the moment. I have a grand total of £40 left :-( Apparently the Virgin Media has cut out back at home so as you can imagine I got a rather shitty phone call from the other half first thing this morning as if it is my fault... Getting really fed up with him again. He says he's all for me doing this new business but because we haven't got any money in our back pockets after three whole weeks of being in business i'm some sort of failure and need to 'get off my ass and get a job'... Not really sure at this moment if our relationship is going to stand the test of time to be honest.

God what a  mess. Why can't he just let me do what I have to do. Businesses need to be built up and re-invested in and how and I supposed to do that when he gives it three bloody weeks? I love my work and I would love it a lot more if people had more faith instead of critisising my way of life. 

I'm going because I am getting all worked up again...

We had little madams parents evening tonight. She is doing really well and is advanced! We must be doing something right :D I really want to focus on her potty training now. The nursery are going to help.

Just found out that a family holiday has been planned for a weekend in February next year which sounds like great fun :D Unfortunately Lou can't make it due to Police commitments and i'm secretly hoping the 'parents' bail out as I really don't want them ruining everything which they will if they go.

I can't wait until my trip to Cheltenham at the end of this month!

Better go, think Little Madam has fallen out of bed again!!

OMGGGGGGG, I just felt the need to write that. I feel like that a lot lately. Drained and tense.

There is so much going on and I think my mind and body is now struggling to cope with the reality of our situation. We are so poor it's unreal. Obviously I understand that there are people out there with literally nothing and believe me, I sit here alot and tell myself to look at my situation throught their eyes. Perhaps I am being selfish. It still gets me down though :( Me and the other half still aren't 100% right which leaves me feeling unstable and insecure. I just want everything to be ok, and to know that everything will actually be ok because it's alright to say it out loud it's just the believing it that I think I am struggling with.
We have our niece staying here every night to sleep as she has nowhere else to stay until her mum moves out of the place she is staying (long story). So at the moment I am having to deal with the fact that she is obviously struggling with being passed from pillar to post for the foreseeable future. She is only 4 and to be honest, once she has got over the initial clingyness to the other half's mum each evening she settles really well at night and goes straight to sleep dispite Little Madam running riot up until aruond 10pm most nights!
Ebay is going 'ok'. I absolutely LOVE my work but I need to increase my sales by at least 70% in order to earn enough to help with bills. I am going to visit my nan this weekend to sort out my self-assessment.

Had a very good day at home with the other half and little madam :-) Didn't hear from the 'immediate family' shock horror lol Oh well, at least I know where I stand...

This is my 100th post!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Right I must first of all apologise for not saying Happy 28th Birthday to the other half. His birthday was on the 9th of September (ages ago I know lol) but hey. Better late than never. We had a fabulous joint party at our place on the 10th with very nice friends and family. My birthday is on Sunday(!) and I will be 24, still young I know :P Not sure what I will be doing as we are currently looking after my niece each night so only time will tell.

Little madam is still doing well. She is sleeping in a big bed now and the novelty is still going strong. Each night we hear the pitter patter of tiny feet stomping though her bedroom. She can hear when we are coming up the stairs and she runs back into bed lol Usually this goes on until around 10/11pm and then she crashes out for the night.
She has her operation tomorrow which I am sooooo nervous about. I just hate the idea of it. There was a cancellation and they rang me yesterday to ask if tomorrow would be ok for her to come in! I hope she can be a brave girlie :-)

Socks is only just alive. The silly other half opened little madams window and saw Socks across the street on someones wall. He called him and Socks (silly billy) ran across the road narrowly missing a car :-( I screamed a bit coz it was very scary :-( Please be rest assured that the other half has now been thoroughly bollocked over this! And just to put your minds at rest, Socks is crashed out on the rug in the lounge right now. He is never very graceful when sleeping he tends to stretch right out to the size of a small child lol

I am now currently in business on ebay :-) I will be setting up a shop on there shortly :D This will be my new full time job with added private music lessons as extra income. I'm really enjoying it so far. I think the best of it is definately shopping for stock, who doesn't like shopping?!

Everything is manic at the moment. Just so much going on. We went to HT's 2nd birthday party last night. Little madam LOVED it. She joined in all the games and got so involved. I loved seeing her face light up as she played pass the parcel and said 'wow' really loudly everytime someone won some sweets! lol very cute. She also demolished a lot of party food! she had TWO bowls of jelly! I can't wait to start organising her 2nd birthday party!!

Having quite a bit more work doing next week on the house. They are coming into put some sort of latex down on the kitchen floor and also replacing a window in the lounge. I can't believe it's nearly been a year since we moved in here and the progress we have made has been so unbelievably slow... come onnnnnnnnnnnnn!!!

I have just realised that I havent mentioned the hospital appointment that we had. Little madam is on the waiting list for her operation. They say it should be done within the next few months. Whether this is true or not.....

In truth I am absolutely bricking it :-( Why my little girl? What has she ever done to deserve this? Makes me so sad that it's all coming to this but I would rather she have this operation and have a small scar rather than her constantly getting it infected.

Little madam is doing so well lately. She is counting to 10 now and her walking has improved soooo much :-) I must remember to buy some scales so I can keep track at home. The only thing I hate at the moment is her flipping temper tantrums!!!! grrrrrrrrrrrrr lol

What on earth?!....... I don't know where to start

Right ok, I briefly broke up the the other half a few weeks ago. It was a massive bust up over something extremely petty. Anyway to cut a long story short I was going to go to Cheltenham to sort my head out with little madam. It was all organised that I would go up the day after the row and about 2 hours before I was due to leave the house my nan rang to say that my grandad had been rushed into hospital :-( Of course this meant everything was on a stand still until we knew what was happening with him. It turned out that everything was ok, he had some sort of problem with his ear causing him to over balance and become sick and dizzy.
I said to my nan the main thing was getting him better and that I would of course stay put.
Anyway, this also meant me and the other half had to work it all out under the same roof. We have been getting on well and taking everything a lot slower. Seems to be working.

Today: 'Nutter' as I shall name her in this blog went and burnt our old flat down late last night. This is the person we swapped houses with. The other half was gutted as there was a lot of family history in that flat. She has currently been arrested on suspicion of arson. Just waiting to hear the police report now.

In other news, the other half decided to make a sudden loud noise that scared the hell out of our cat Socks causing him to bolt suddenly from my lap digging his claws right into my leg as he scarpered. You can quiteclearly see a massive paw mark on my leg now where each claw went in :-( sooooo painful! youch!

I'm seeing my sister (Lou) on Thursday as well as my other Nan :-) Looking forward to it.

Random update

Had a fun day today even though we haven't actually done very much. I have taught twice today and luckily they both came out to my place. Little madam seemed to have a good day at nursery. Actually no, wait a minute, not all of today has been good, Little Miss J was sick this morning :-(, she didn't feel well yesterday either when we went to the Toby Carvery but we thought it was the heat getting to her. Anyway she seemed to perk up in the afternoon :-)

Been busy listing stuff on ebay, seems to be doing ok so far :D Been a while...

Anyway hoping we can do something tomorrow with kids, fingers crossed for pennies and sunshine :-) x

We finally have little madams next hospital date: Friday 12th August. I'm hoping the surgeon will be more helpful this time and not ponce about like last time... idiot...
Little madam is off with her sisters today out with the grandparents :-) Hope she is enjoying herself.

We finally have some sort of garden now as we paid someone to come and strim down the all the jungle. We did however discover a bees nest which is in the most ridiculous place. Right in the middle of the garden by the path so we can't even corner it off. I'm a bit worried that someone will stand on it. The cacoon is on show and everything.

Got the paddling pool out yesterday. The girls really enjoyed it, even the other half got his trunks on and took a dip :O lol

Wish the kids would behave themselves. They have gone without so many treats just for being silly about little things and not listening. Feel like a broken record!! I have now drawn up a reward chart so hopefully they will be more inclined to sort themselves out... time will tell.

We have out new bed up now :-) looks quite posh and very out of place with all our other junk lol but once I have kitted the room out in other new stuff should all look verrrry niiiiiice :l-) Mitchel in particular loves the new bed as he spends the majority of his time on it lol I'm laying on it right now with Mitch whilst I write this and play online bingo. I'm totally offended that Socks chose the bunkbeds over laying next to me lol I'm also facing a massive pile of washing that needs ironing *sigh* I will try and motivate myself to get some done later today. Maybe when the family is watching Harry Potter on the tele.

I also need to pick out everyones outfits for Mondays family portrait in town. This is our last free photo session so want it to look really nice. Hopefully everyone will remember to smile and not blink as the picture is being taken lol.

The other half and I have found a nice way to spend lots of time together, and this is to watch all the series of Shameless. Something we both love lol I had never seen all the early series before. We are now on series 3 :-)

Anyway, might have a quick nap now whilst everyone is out. Make the most of the peace and quiet :-) x

Potty training today with little madam. She's already in her 'charlie and lola' pants. We've already had one accident oops! I hope she gets the hang of this soon, she already recognises when she is weeing in her nappy. She says 'wee wee' as she's doing it though lol

The other half is making a start on our bedroom today. He's making so much noise I can hardly hear myself think! We have no bed a the moment as ours broke. It's not what you think! It genuinely decided to break at 4am the othe morning :-( So we have had to bring our mattress downstairs and camp in the lounge. We have ordered a new one but it's not being delivered until next Tuesday :-( So annoyed coz I haven't even finished paying off the old bed yet!!

Got Smoo visiting this afternoon and possibly staying over :D yay! Think we guna try and play Mario online with Bruce :-) Might get a few bevvies going :P Mind you, can't drink too much as I am taking little madam down to Bude on Saturday so we can see my Nan and Grandma aswell as two of my cousins. Should be good.

I sat down with the other half last night to sort out our finances as we need to be on a tight budget for the next three weeks when the girls are down. We have parties and all sorts to take into account! Little Miss K will be 8 at the end of the month but she will be with heer mum then so I'm throwing her a party on the 7th here :-) I will take Little Miss J with me to Asda to buy all the party food etc so she doesnt feel left out. Luckily we have already bought presents and cards. Thank god for my OCD lol

Oh yeah one more think, looks like my IBS is getting worse, on lots of tablets now and had bloods taken yesterday :-( That reminds me, must pick up the rest of my tablets later today!

Best be off, little madam getting restless on the potty now, her bum must be numb she's sat so still! x

This year is going by so fast. We are taking the cats to the vets later for their injections... oh dear lol I hope they have a towel ready to fend off Socks when he gets angry lol

Unfortunately we won't be buying a car anymore as we just can't afford to pay for it each month or repair it if needed. So we are now back to focusing on the house. Going to start pricing up carpets etc...

Just found out that we have a babysitter for tonight so going to bingo with the other half and then watching the new and final Harry Potter at midnight :D wahooo bet the other half falls asleep, lol far too late for him lol. Anyway, we are really hoping things go well tonight with the new sitter so that we can go out more regularly :-)

Guna get little madam in pants this afternoon, got the dettol ready... hahaha :P x

THIS IS AN OLD POST THAT NEVER UPLOADED...
Is it really July tomorrow?! This year is probably one of the fastest ever.





I have two pupils at the moment which is working really well so I can build up a knowledge of how to go about teaching one-to-one without feeling bombarded with new information. In a sense it does remind me of the good old days where I did actually go into schools and teach/do lesson plans etc. I get to do all this now just on a smaller scale so I'm very happy with the career move so far.





Little Miss K starts Brownies tomorrow, I'm really excited for her :-) I had some of the greatest times whilst at Brownies and Guides. It's just a shame that the girls don't get home sooner on a Friday otherwise Little Miss J could join the rainbows. But hey, she will be joining her sister in January once she is 7 :-) They way this year is passing it will be in no time at all!

Well i'm now classed as 'self-employed' which is very scary especially as I don't expect to make any profit in my first year so I have to pray that nothing expensive crops up... Speaking of money i'm still awaiting my compensation, so those of you who I owe money to (you know who you are) I think that is the money I am going to use to pay you back hopefully in full as most of the money we get now is in dribs and drabs. Thank you for being so patient and I know it must be very frustrating :-( sorry x

In other news, little madam hasn't been feeling well lately to the point where we went to out of hours doctors last night at the hospital because her temperature shot up to 38.8 after her calpol which is usually designed to bring her temp down. The verdict was that there wasn't a lot we could do other than ride it out. She has gone into nursery today as I was hoping it would be good as a distraction. Hope she is alright x

I can't believe I am no longer working for anyone and working from home, you should see the state of my house. The other half seems to think I have all these spare hours to do all the housework but I never realised how time consuming advertising is! I can't move in this house at the moment, we had a complete refit with our central heating last week and one of the silly workers knocked over our shelving unit and it's smashed to pieces so I now have no storage for my pots and pans!! grrrr They are all on the dining table at the moment.

I can't wait for the kitchen to be finished, I have so many cooking ideas and i'm dying to try them :-) One day this house will be a home, meanwhile I have to make do with dreaming about it whilst watching the home channels lol The garden is a whole other matter completely...

Anyway, I now need to figure out how to find some money to have the cats jabs done :-( x

Tis my last full day in Cardiff with Bruce, think we are going out for a meal tonight :-) should be goooood. Right now, Bruce is sat with one of her bunnies in her lap, personally i'm waiting for it to wee/poo haha! :P
We have been playing on the wii today, I discovered that there is a handbell game which I got really competative over! So cool though!
The other half rang earlier with some promising news, we now have a hospital appointment booked in for little madam on the 17th June to discuss our options with this horrible cyst. Im so happy that things are finally happening as it has been so distressing for all of us, especially little madam.
The other half is stuck at home today and tomorrow with all our new heating system being fitted. Hope it all looks alright when I get home tomorrow. I have missed the cats sooooo much, hope they are behaving themselves hehe.
It has been a very entertaining week lol ranging from us watching hippos pooing online (haha) to teaching little madam to walk and talk some more :-) We had a particularly bad experience at Toby Carvery where we arrived at 6pm, I went up first and stood waiting for HALF AN HOUR and then Bruce went up and stood waiting for another HALF AN HOUR!!! I was extremely pissed off coz I was absolutely boiling and about to pass out!
ANYWAY, luckily there was a malibu and coke around to calm me down hehe!
OMG it is going to be soooo strange not waking up at 5am next week. Im nervous and excited about starting my new venture, I am always willing for people to give me their advice so if anyone has anything contructive to say about me becoming a private flute teacher, I really am all ears :-)

I am currently enjoying more time away with little madam, visiting the best friend :-) Staying away from the harsh reality that is unemployment :-( Even if I wanted a job it is probably not wise at the moment as the future predicts lots of distressing hospital appointments for little madam and this problem cyst she has on the side of her face :-(
Money is draining away and debts are on the rise :-( Not the most positive of times but trying hard to muddle my way through.
Anyway going to have to run as the battery on this laptop is about to conk out... ahhhhhhh

Hey :-)

Had a fantastic break away, had a slight mishap with my sister and ended up leaving early and going to my nan's on the Sat instead of the following Wednesday. But it all worked out for the best because little madam and I had a GREAT week in Cheltenham!!

Yesterday I discovered the wonder that is Tombola.com... OMG amazing! Before you laugh or judge, I won £300 :D hehe! woop woop. It would be fantastic if that was a bonus but alas I am pretty much jobless these days and so I have to treat my winnings as a wage but hey I was still impressed!

Not much else to report back really... boring I know! Just sat watching the national movie awards so thought I would drop you all a line :-) Anyway, Tombola is calling, my new love lol...

Happy Birthday to my sister :D she is 22 today :-)

Have you all had an easter egg then? we had our easter egg hunt first thing this morning. The girls were very excited and have tonnes!
We have the kids here on their holiday, they have been here since the 15th and go back tomorrow. We have enjoyed a trip to the cinema to see the film 'Hop' which I think it is safe that little miss J enjoyed it the most :P We have also treated ourselves to a few restaurant meals seeing as there is so much decorating going on here at the moment.
The hallway is now painted!! and the kitchen has been plastered but we cant use the kitchen cupbaords yet which is a pain so everything is in boxes - hence deciding to go out for food lol Luckily we have had fabulous weather this week and so BBQs have been a godsend.

We are currently sat munching on chocolate and singing on singstar :D I have yet to find someone who can beat me on the song by The Script! and takers?? :P

I am now getting very very excited about my up and coming 'holiday' to Surrey and Cheltenham starting on Tuesday. Me and little madam are going to visit my sister and then my nan and grandad. Whilst in Surrey 'Aunty B' will be visiting so she can finally see her god daughter!

NEWS: Little madam took her first few steps yesterday!!!! FINALLY lol she's still not walking as yet but at least she now knows how it all works lol i'm sure my holiday will give us plenty of opportunity to get her walking properly :-) She also needs her first ever hair cut soon ahhhh!

Hi all! I havent been on here for quite a while I see! I have been very busy trying to figure out what I am going to do. I have three weeks until my job ends and then nothing.... well I am going away for two weeks with little madam to visit Auntie L and then onto Cheltenham for a bit. But yeah as of the 24th I have no job... :-( I have also been busy looking after little madam because her cyst on her face keeps weeping :-( The doctor tells me that he doesnt think she is in pain with it but I know that she is. It's really frustrating and I find the whole situation really emotional and upsetting but I think little madam is coping brilliantly. I am so proud of her. We had the kids for the weekend, the next time they come down it will be for a week for Easter. I am very organised this year and have all their eggs ready as well as bunny masks etc ready for their Easter egg hunt, I even have little coloured baskets! I don't know when I will next have money so I have decided to make the most of my last pay cheque, I also bought DIY stuff to sort out little madam's bedroom as wel as the train tickets for the end of the month so I can go away for a bit and have a break from all the stress. This whole situation has put a massive strain on me and the other half but through all our bickering we always managed to have a cuddle and tell each other how much we love one another. I have had a really nice Mother's Day today, not the traditional day where I would have put my feet up and have a nice meal cooked for me. Instead I was up by 10am, got dressed and took a trip out to B&Q whilst the other half steamed off the old wall paper. I spent a good 20 minutes trying to find out if B&Q did curtains long enough in the width to find out that no they didn't! After that I went back home with paint, rollers, tape and wall paper etc... and then cooked a fabulous roast! Once the kids went home and little madam went to bed we made a start on the rubble in the garden but stopped when we realised just how big a job this is going to be :-( But yeah overall I am very happy with my beautiful card, box of choccies, lovely flowers and Michael McIntyre autobiography :D I have been reading a lot lately actually, I now make weekly trips up to the local library and constantly order in books that I want to read and go up again once I receive my email telling me that it's arrived :D I also get little madam lots of books to bring home to look at, she loves them :-) Once her room is complete I want to make her a little library of her own. We have now come up with our 'official' plan (lol) for upstairs... Little madam is to have her OWN room but her sister will sleep in her room when they are down. The bigger bedroom will be split into two rooms. At the end will be for the other half and I, and the 'box' room will be for little miss K and J to play in and have a desk and wardrobe so that they have a space of their own and little madam won't be able to wreck their stuff. We figured that since they aren't down permenantly it is not essential that they have to sleep in a seperate room.

Happy Birthday to Miss J (for Saturday) had a nice night on Saturday although spent most of yesterday paying for it! Hope you liked the tin of spaghetti and sausages from little madam lol

Well so much has happened since we last spoke. Little madam did her first ever wee on the potty last week! So proud as it was her third attempt :D


I also have an interview lined up for a nursery position next Monday - wish me luck!


Little miss K and J were very excited to learn that their brother arrived early on Friday 4th March morning.


And then all this business with the Japanese earthquake and tsunami :-( such sad news, i've been following it on tv and it makes me feel physically sick. It makes me really angry when they flick from story to story on the news and the rest all seems so insignificant compared to this horrific event.

Oh hi March!

So soon?? I've had an interesting few weeks. I'm going to have to hand in my notice at my current job because they are cutting my bus :-( I am keen to get back into nursery work to start my level 3 so I have started the job search. I have yet to find a nursery that will take me on as a level 2 on minimum wage. They all want me on £2.50 an hour / 40 hours a week. Um..... no thanks! I've done the whole training wage for a year thing and its not good! Especially with three kids. I have looked online to see if tax credits will help but nothing because the other half is apparently 'rich' HAHAHAHAHAHA

We have the kids here at the moment as their mother is giving birth. I am home-schooling today and tomorrow :-) I got all three kid's feet measured today :D little madam is a 3F. She has a long way to go in order to fit in 'proper' shoes lol Need her to grow to a 4 realistically.
I bought little madam a pink 'peppa pig' potty today aswel :D We will begin tomorrow. Will let you know how she gets on hehe.

Well done to little madam who did her sponsered sing-along on Tuesday :D she did very well and once everyone has coughed up, she will have raised a grand total of £68 wahoo!

So yeah, I have IBS... I knew I had it because I had mild attacks in the past until this week when it kicked off majorly to the point that I had to stumble into the doctors surgery without any appointment on my way to pick up little madam from nursery. I saw the surgery and thought f*** it, I need to try. I was in absolute agony :-( I was in tears with the pain and bless the receptionist, they were all about to shut for lunch but she could see how bad I was so got the doctor to see me straight away.
He asked me to lay out straight and prodded my tummy about which made it worse and it was all towards the right-hand side. He was a little worried that it was my appendix. He said I needed to go home, sort childcare, rest and see how I was by 5pm. If it was still bad I should call in at the surgery as I would then be on my way to hospital.
So I picked up little madam 5 minutes early got home as fast as I could (ouch up the hill) and rang the other half as soon as I got through the door saying I needed him home. Within 5 minutes he was on the bus and on his way home. I somehow managed to carry little madam up the stairs and put her in the travel cot in our bedroom, she fell asleep instantly as she was knackered from nursery. I crawled into bed still in agony to wait for the other half to come home and take over from all responsibility. Socks and Mitchel jumped on the bed for cuddles :-)
When the other half got home he settled me in bed properly so I could sleep and put in the baby monitors so he could listen out for little madam. I slept through everything after that.
The other half woke me up at 4.50pm and asked how I felt and do I need to go to the dr again. The pain was still there but it wasnt as excruciating as before. I literally felt like I had been kicked by a horse. As it was so close to 5pm I thought the surgery might be close to closing.
The dr I had seen earlier in the day rang me and asked how I was. He asked if it would be possible for me to come down just so he could check me over again.
The idea of me walking to the surgery was to much so the other half rang me a taxi and agreed to stay at home with little madam just in case I was to go straight into hospital. Anyway got to the surgery and was checked over but it turned out that the pain was shifting about my tummy and at that point the Dr said he was pretty sure it is IBS to the extreme.
All I can do is rest, eat little and often and more rest as well as take my new meds. This all kicked off from midnight on Mon night and Tuesday. It's now Thursday and i'm still suffering :-( I feel really swollen and weak. Just got to ride it out and hope it all ends soon.

In other news... I had a very nice Valentines day on Monday :-) Little madam got a card from HT hehe it says "for you on valentines day from your cheeky monkey" :-)
The kids mum is being induced next Wednesday so as far as we know we now have the kids all of next week for half term, starting from tomorrow evening. It is soooo annoying that I don't get paid until next Friday!!
The other news is that it will be Socks' 2nd birthday on Monday!!! my baby is growing up so fast! The fact that Socks is going to be two only reminds me that little madam will be as well this year! arrrggggghhhh!

Count down until complete darkness...

My complete and utter idiot of a fiance accidently lost our electric key after only just topping it up by £10. This would be ok if it weren't for the fact we are about to be cut off because we only have £2 emergency left :-( No offices or call outs are available until Monday morning - which is just great because I have workmen turning up at 9am that same morning to sort out the hallway. I have a freezer full of food as well which is heartbreaking because I have a lot of expensive meat in there :-(
The other half is out re-tracing his steps, so far no luck. We are now waiting on the hope that he is going to find the same bus he was on earlier...

I'm just soooo angry because I specifically told the other half to keep the key in the zipped up part of his wallet because I KNEW he would lose it :-( I checked and double checked he was keeping it there :-( The other annoying thing is that we have recently been looking at paying quarterly instead of being on a metre.

Having such a boring day today :-( no money to do anything and the weather is bad so can't even tackle the garden grrr i'm winding the other half up by huffing and puffing all day long!

My Nanny is home from her visit to NZ :-) so glad she is home safe and sound will have to arrange a visit soon.

OMG sooooooo bored. Even wishing the kid's mum has her baby today just so I can take an interest in SOMETHING!!! Ebay still has another 3 days to go... Money won't be making an appearance until Tuesday and it's technically already been spent coz I owe ppl pennies :-( grrr BORED!!!!!

Little madam will be finishing her nap soon so i'm sure she will find a way to keep me occupied, ooo maybe we could make some valentines cards for her boyfriends!!! lol
Not sure me and the other half are doing anything on Monday although I have requested a pretty balloon lol

CONGRATULATIONS to Miss F who had a baby girl yesterday lunch time :D can't wait to meet her :-) I still can't get over her giving birth on Little madam's BF's 1st Birthday!! Happy Birthday for yesterday Master C :D I was so upset that she couldn't make his birthday party on Sunday - she was ill since Thursday morning when she woke up being sick :-( She is all better now!

We saw Lou and her better half on Thursday afternoon/Fri. Unfortunately our meal at Toby was cut short when Little madam started throwing up again all over her highchair. Poor baby. We also got to see Miss E on Saturday which was fun! Me and Miss E went out to bingo on Sat evening last minute. Unfortunately neither of us won although I was waiting on the damn number 7 for AGES!!! grrrr.....

Little madam was well enough yesterday for me and the other half to chance taking her with us to do a tesco shop - a family event lol She sat in the trolley and said 'mmmmmm' at everything hahaha! won't be long until she reaches out and grabs stuff without me seeing!

At the moment little madam is sat emptying her nursery bag, she's currently sorting through the nappy sacks haha! she's treating them as if they are pom poms :-)

Soooooo tired :-( I over stressed today just because everything seemed to be wrong! The other half left the back door unlocked AGAIN, the rabbits were trapped in their bed compartment and had chewed half the door in a bid to try and escape, Mitchel (i'm assuming it's Mitchel) decided to poo on the kitchen floor and then drag laundry out the basket to hide it (major GRRRR) and loads more, you get my drift!

So yeah i'm just guna take this moment to say. F*** it! I'm chilling out with the creme eggss tonight, and as if on cue, the other half has literally walked in through the front door and handed me 12 creme eggs HAHAHAHAHAHA!

Just realised I havent posted on here in a while. Happy Birthday to my good friend Bruce back on the 29th, also to another friend who I shall name 'nameste' - she knows what I mean!

How have we all been? I have had ups and downs.
I shall start with the downs and get them over with. I have been to the doctor about the amount of sugar I demolish. It turns out I may have some sort of eating disorder steming back to my childhood. He asked me one question "If there is one thing you could change about your life what would it be?" - my answer was "my family" and then I just burst into tears like a right twit! lol anyway, the doctor seems pretty satisfied that I'm not some manic depressant or living in the past. He said he can see i'm trying to just get on with my life but sometimes your brain can keep re-living everything... Going to give councelling a try but I can just see the whole thing being a huge sob fest haha!

Back to the ups... little madam madam had her first WHOLE day at nursery today and she did very well :D We now have a hand-print painting on the fridge hehe so cute!

Lou is down for the day/night tomorrow :-) wonder how she is getting on at mum and dad's tonight? hahaha

It's rather cold today :-( brrrrrrr Little madam is fast asleep in the pram and has been since we got home from nursery haha She's been teething a lot lately, to the point that the other half has been sleeping on the sofa as she's been sleeping in the double bed with me. I will have a look in a bit to see if they have finally cut through.

Feeling rather poor again at the moment :-( nothing changes! I'm hoping I get paid on Friday. Something usually goes wrong, hurrumph.

Haha my cats are sat watching me! They are waiting to be fed and they have tried EVERYTHING to get attention. Socks chewed off a leaf from my bunch of flowers and ran off with it when I chased him. He then knocked a picture on the floor and the frame broke. Mitchel has been walking all over me, literally. He's now sat in a box! Bless them they are so sweet. Every morning they hear my alarm and wait for me to get out of bed! Socks' latest bed is little madams new car seat although Mitchel stole it last night so Socks had to make do with the arm of the sofa lol

I really really need to cut down on creme eggs grrrrr I just keep eating them :-( and every time I stop I get angry at myself for not buying them! lol The majority of my recycling is creme egg boxes!!!

I handed in my application form to carry on my childcare training. I now need to wait to hear when my meeting will be and then hopefully find a placement. I just want to get on with it. I'm actually really excited! Once the next stage is out the way I can crack on with all the managerial work/training. That's definately where I want to be :-)

Three long years today! And what a lot we have to show for it! We have a gorgeous daughter and her two older sisters, and a house!!! What on earth will happen in the next three years?!? Will just have to wait and see. Personally I'm hoping me and the other half will be married, we'll have a car and I will be able to drive. Here's hoping!!

Ps: Happy Birthday to Mr BPM for yesterday and also HAPPY ANNIVERSARY also to my good friend Bruce and her better half :D:D:D - Three long years also! haha! x x x

Maybe it's the change in weather but I feel unusually cheerful today! :-) It's nice to see the sun shining, finally! I thought it would never happen.

Little madam is sleeping at the moment and the cats are chilling on the bunkbeds haha Socks is on the top and Mitchel on the bottom haha!

Just waiting for my Tesco delivery. Hope it turns up soon because i'm STARVING!!

It's my three year anniversary with the other half on Thursday :-) Not sure if we can afford to do anything special, but I know we have a joint Dr's appoint at 6.50pm haha how romantic lol I'm hoping to save enought to go to the all you can eat chinese coz it's lush and it's the only way to fill the other half up!

Well little madam likes the new nursery and the staff think she is really sweet! hehe She is now officially staying in nursery from 8am until 12.45pm mon-thurs :-) She was exhausted when I picked her up and she had a quick cat nap before I finally got her weighed!!
She is now 19lb, 12oz which for her according to the health visitor is 'normal' and 'fine'. This is the first weighing since we moved house, she was last weighed in Sept. Anyway, I went to get her weighed and it actually turned out that Monday afternoons are stay and play sessions so poor little madam had to summon more energy to keep going all afternoon! haha!

Happy belated birthday to Mr E and to my Nanny for last week, also Happy Birthday to my Aunty for yesterday out in NZ :-)

Little madam starts her new nursery tomorrow :D Her settling day went really well and the staff love her! Unfortunately she couldn't attend her second settling day because she was in agony teething and she just didn't know what to do with herself :-( She's been like that a lot lately. I just don't know what to do with her, all she does is scream and I feel so helpless and mean. I'm hoping the teeth just hurry up and pop through. They are so close now.

The pez rang me today, her and the bf are coming down in the first week of Feb on the Thursday :-) looking forward to seeing her!

I'm just waiting for my auctions to finish on Ebay........... need the pennies!!

Omg you should have seen the other half walk in last night, actually he stumbled in lol He had his belated xmas staff party so got extremely drunk! He's still hanging now haha. I'm glad that he had a night out, he definately needed it :-)

I have Socks curled up right next to me :D Bless him he's been very cuddly today even when I was sleeping earlier (I slept ALL day and woke up at 5pm lol) I'm really craving creme eggs :-( can't have any thought because the shops are shut. Damn Sundays!!! If I had a car (and could drive) I would be driving to Tesco right now!!

It's my last day off tomorrow, i'm going to be up early to take little madam to nursery and then I think i'm just going to wait in to see if any more Ebay parcels arrive.

Teletubbies is back on and little madam loves them lol We are just getting ourselves ready to go to her first settling session at her new nursery :-) the weather is rubbish so will be turning up looking like drowed rats, or rather I will seeing as little madam will be perfectly dry under the rain cover!

Me, little madam and the other half went to Toby Carvery for our tea last night, yum! Little madam is so cute, she learnt that she needs to blow on her food if it's too hot!

We had our medical review yesterday as well from the car accident we were in back in November. We're all ok although I need to go to my gp to try and access if I am getting acid attacks due to the crash. The man who assessed me said it seems the only likely thing seeing as i've only had them since the crash. It's all to do with anxiety or something. I'm well bad in cars/buses etc, I flinch if anything looks like it's going to hit, even if i'm in the bus lane!! :-(

Errrgggghhh I have so much housework to do :-( I'm hoping for a miracle, maybe the kitty cats will magically sort the house whilst we are out! haha

I stood in poo! in my own kitchen!!! naughty kitty cats! I was just stood there for a minute to work out what just happened and then called up to the other half to come and rescue me as I couldnt move! haha

The other half has food poisoning which I have since learnt came from a secret pasty he ate yesterday! How do I know this? His mum has food poisoning too! haha I shouldnt laugh I just think it is funny the way it all came out haha.

Tonight I am taking my best mate Bruce out for an early celebration of her 23rd birthday :D We are going to paint the town red! hehe Looking forward to it but hope the pictures won't be as bad as the last lot haha.

Hopefully we will get to do something tomorrow for little miss J's late birthday when the other half may be feeling a little better. We were supposed to be going to the all you can eat chinese but somehow didnt think it would be appropriate today :P

Also found out that my sister will be around on the 1st Feb :D wahoo!

Well it was back to work today, my body thoroughly rejected the idea of getting up at 5.30am, I thought I was actually going to be sick! Still it was good to be back at work :-) I have now found out that I have another weeks holiday booked next week! So it's not all bad.

Little madam had her home visit this afternoon from her new nursery. It went very well :-) Little madam spent most of it with ehr eyes glued to CBeebies and chewing the nursery nurses keys lol We are going in for two afternoons next week and I get to stay and play to see how she settles in :-) Should be fun!

I'm so annoyed that I missed my ebay parcels grrr I can't even go and pick them up because I know I ordered a splash back for the oven and there is no way I can carry it with the pram. I will have to see if they will redeliver, would be handy if they would deliver in the afternoons when I'm actually in!

Ut Oh, Little madam just felt the wrath of Socks. She must have poked him because she just burst into tears and is sat dangerously close to a curled up Socks lol She's fine, just 'kissed it all better' :-)

The other half goes back to work tomorrow :-( It's only 11am-4pm but still, back to reality. I've just finished a slice of xmas cake, i'm determined to stay festive until the last slice has gone!

I think the good luck is up, I went to bingo this evening with my xmas tickets and lost quite dramatically. I was waiting on one number for £600 and also one number for £800 :-( absolutely gutted. We could have had a car :-( *sulk*

I now have a couple of days to decide what we are doing to celebrate little Miss J's birthday seeing as the snow prevented us from going anywhere over xmas. Hmmm. I also have to bare in mind that I need pennies for Sat evening so I can go out for Bruce's early birthday party.
Oh why can't we just be magically rich?!

Maybe it's time for another slice of xmas cake...

Just finished our meal at the Toby Carvery. It was alright, slightly disappointed at the lack of lamb and parsnips BUT they forgot to add our carverys to the bill so mwahaha we just had a free carvery haha! I also found a pound in the taxi so this year is feeling lucky already, lets pray it stays that way :D

Little madam began crawling on the 29th :D very proud of her. She's still very reluctant to do it but at least now we know she can and it's down to pure stubborness rather than in-ability. She has been so spoilt over Xmas and New Year! Such a lucky girl.

I would just like to quickly mention how proud I am of Audrey and her family for doing so well on the 30th. Love to all the family :-) x x
